I know they said for a fact they will no longer be running DBCom in 2009 and beyond. And yes, I was the main driver behind it but a lot of other people helped with it, so I can't take all the credit (or as some would have it, blame). -Nico |

I realize that Nico, but it's still almost twice the cost. I don't get ant trade in credit. | |

I don't know about the Tranx160's. I do know that if you pick up a used TranX260 and its already registered on mylaps.com with a user, AMB will not change it to you. So keep that in mind when looking at used transponders. I worked really hard to get all the racers the best deal possible as well as getting a Christmas promotion and getting them to throw in the extended warranty if you buy before March. Y'all know I race as well and keeping the costs down is as important to me as anyone else. Thanks, -Nico |

| Pit Crew Joined: Sep 2007 From: Seattle I Ride: 2002 RSV Mille & 2003 YZF-R6 & 2006 DRZ250 | I did some looking into Tranx160 and looks like it will work with the system BUT 160 is lower power than 260 and intended for kart (i.e. lower to the ground). I have no personal experience with these but the "internet" says it will work as long as it has unobstructed view of the ground. I did not find any motorcycle road racing accounts of 160 working or not working so take this info what that it is... |

| ghetto-fabulous Joined: Jun 2006 From: MetheadsStealYourStuff, OR I Ride: Sticky Rubbers | The 160 is designed for carts @ 6inches off the ground, it won't read the wire @ 3ft from the ground as it will be on a motorcycle. You won't be picked up and you will end up with the same problems as DBCrap. As with any big change, initial push back is to be expected. Try to remember how many races DBcrap managed to get right. How many times did you need to fill out forms because you weren't picked up? Did you remember to unplug your 9V? All of those problems will be wisked away with AMB. Now onto real issues, like the pavement at PR (And WMRRA running Bridgestone as a spec tire in 2010)Last edited by Essvar; 11-24-2008 at 05:36 PM.. |

BTW, my preliminary guess is a fast lap around 1:38.....we'll see how far off (or close) I am. BTW Warren, you should do the Racer Support Program.....a few spots still left. |
