Eventually I wanna have my SV as a track bike, daily ride a motard + then have a duc 749 or 999 as my 'hey its sunny I'll go for a nice ride' type bike. Then my car for the drifting funstuffs |

If you wanna ride I-5 to Portland, forget about it. The longest freeway ride I've done on mine was to Vantage and back with a bunch of sportbikes. Not something I want to do again anytime soon. Cruising speed matters too. 65-70 mph is pretty decent. But 75-80+ the motor is spinning pretty good and the vibes go up a bunch, it just starts feeling "busy" and you'll tire out quicker. On the flip side, I've gone riding all day when it's all backroads etc with occaisional stops along the way. Standing helps too. If you've ridden dirt at all, it feels totally natural and is a great way to stretch out for awhile. |

Goes along with the bigger the bike the more comfy it is. Lighter - more flickable, less comfurt for long haul Anyone want to buy a DUKE I ? Although I like the lightness I don't live in a large town and most of my driving is long distance. I dont't want to rack up the miles on this great condition SM. PM KneeDragGirl for a personal statement of how sweet it is. Hell she said she wanted to buy it but... she has a Superduke and I don't think that'll happen.
