I was running an FMF Q-2 slip on on this for the last 1.5 years. I wasn't happy with it compared to the ProCirc. that my husband was running on an identical bike to mine. My FMF required monkeying around with the jetting and mix and needle a lot more than the ProC plus it didn't have the power, the sound, nor the quality of build of the ProC so I finally broke down and sold the FMF to one of my customers. The T-4 went on today. I test rode it and it was way sweet. Only thing is that now its a little rich in the middle. So a little more monkey and she'll be cherry. I also ordered the Driven powerup kit (red rear sprocket, black front and gold chain) just for some extra fun. Here she is with my husbands in the background. Out of the 7 bikes I own and actively ride, this one is my daily rider-- ![]() ![]() |

No melted stuff. ![]() |

Mods: FmF Q4 Slip on FmF powerbomb header Airbox mod Flapper valve mod (pc3 and k&N air filter are coming soon) Zeta Armor Hand guard (7/8 bend black) Zeta Armor Hand guard protector DRC Edge tail light kit (went a tad past balance point.. need new kit lol) Moto LED blinkers front and rear Zing black seat cover (not installed yet) powermad mirrors (stockers back on, couldnt see.. looking for something new) she is on a small diet.. few things removed (tool kit, extra silly reflectors etc..) Belly delete.. ( hardest mod of them all but.. if i wasnt 210lbs i bet this thing would scream! lol). Has been down more times than a two dollah hooky and still has yet to spend time in a shop. I had to replace my crank case cover and shift pedal, small scratch on my swing arm and my tail plastic is abit scraped from the epic wheelie lol.. I love this bike, i realize its just a 250 but ive had it up to 102 indicated on the speedo (downhill in a windstorm for a few miles with her peg'd lol...). Friend of mine has a DRZsm so ive spent time on the suzuki alternative and im still completely happy with my purchase. |

It has a set of Corsa Pro's on it and came wit another set of Corsa III's. I'm going to mostly use this as a street bike. Maybe a little off road but not much. Might get a set of Distanza's next summer. Question is, tire pressures and suspension settings. Sport rider has some pretty good base line settings for sport bikes. Is there something like that for the little Zuke? It has a Leo Vince pipe, stock airbox and jets. Lots to be done here... |

| Superbiker Joined: Apr 2007 From: Westside I Ride: Something fun | Once my DRZ broke in, the suspension got really soft... When I would roll a stoppie the front end would friggin pogo on me, killing the inertia. Much better now though. I turned everything up, front and rear to bring some stiffness back to it. Good luck. And welcome. |

| MotoGP Contender ![]() | Just as an FYI, the order could take a while. Got my DRZ mid-November, rolling a pair of ordered Distanzas into the deal. The first one reached the shop a couple weeks later. The second just arrived last week. |

Looks like they don't have 16.5" fronts which sucks, but still. I'm in the same situation as you are, need a bunch of sumo parts for this "future SM" (ready to go play in the slush around the neighborhood as pictured) ![]() Last edited by dakh; 01-04-2009 at 09:07 PM.. |

At 5'8" (barely) and a 30" inseam, I have a hard time touching the ground. BTW...dakh...PM sent. That was the first time I added up the savings...screaming deal. If anyone else is interested, let me know. |
