Hmmmm Going to have to look into that.

On a side note. Is there any interest in doing a supermoto ride? Plus, I really want to check out some of the other bikes before I start the modding. Possibly this weekend? Looks like the weather is going to be great.

That's what's on there now. Stock DRZ-S sprockets are 15/44. Heh, not doing a buck with my 6'3", 245lbs on it! I can confirm that 94mph is my personal terminal DRZ velocity...though that was with the stock exhaust system, Pirelli MT21s, and I have lost some weight recently...so, shit, full yosh now, SM rubber...hmmm yeah, 95mph could be within reach!

Lemme go look...
I "Thought" my SM was 44 on back...
I take that back
I'm 15/41.
I just calibrated a vapour speedo on mine. I saw an honest 102this weekend
I'm thinking I'm going to go another couple teeth taller on back.

Finally!
Woot woot my friends. Woot motherf'ing woot.

As she was the day I bought her:

And here she is this weekend, on her maiden voyage in SM trim, on a little jaunt out to Snoqualmie and up the North Fork:

Haha it's a Wally-World special. Supposed to be an ATV seat pad. It's not that great really, only adds a little bit of padding, and it's kinda slick so you end up sliding around a bit on it. But for like $15, what the hell, why not, right? Every little bit helps!

Edit -- Just in case you want more info:

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=275600

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...tearns+walmart

They list it for waaaay more $$$ at that first site, but as the post on ADV says, it was much cheaper at Walmart. Again, it's not that great. You get what you pay for. But it beats the stocker at least.

I thinks Lizi should come over for the ride as well, I don't have a hotel but have enough room for her to sleep if she needs a place to crash. As long as she can handle hanging out with my family

Thank you for inviting me to your cul-de-sac (I'll try not to make too many **tee hee comments on that).

Oct. 4th is the first Sunday of Oktoberfest here in Leavenworth, a big time for my motel. Most of the guests that weekend are/will be Forum people, actually. So I'll still be pulling folks out of jail and the bushes on Sunday morning.

But I love to be invited (makes me feel like I'm not picked last for the team :-) )

well, I think you'd love it. We put ice spikes in the crf150 and the xr50 (not to mention the ROKON -- the mini and the ROKON jousting is here...http://www.vimeo.com/6017311) and race them around our oval track :-) Also, we should have 2 snomobiles to ride out in the field and on the track next door. HUH. IDEA.

minibike jousting on the ice? Hrm. I mean, they are 1/2 sheet metal screwz, not *real ice tires. How much damage could that cause?

Also, we like to use the snomobiles to drag innertubes up the big hill behind the motel and we cut berms in to slide down. It's totally fun and also kid friendly (course, we are all kids!)

Haha well, I know Joe from back in 2006 in the Bay Area so, I was laughing.

Hey, so not sure if people know this but my shop sells a ton of supermoto-related parts... complete Excel/Talon/choice of spoke wheel setups (as well as Pro Wheel and Krieg), lots of brands such as as Barnett, Hinson, Galfer, MotoMaster, EBC, Braking, Driven, as well as Avon, Bridgestones, Dunlops and Michelins. We also lace and true sumo wheels (all wheels) in house.

If you need a quote on anything, please let me know. I am more than happy to split my markup with a Forum customer to gain business from a big dealer :-) To that end I was just able to sell a Hinson BTL slipper clutch for 885 (retail 1050) to a Forum customer yesterday morning. WIN.

I think they do.
The little Dizzle has done more to convert people to tards than any other bike.
Properly prepared, they rip.
