Yeah i went with the aftermarket ABS plastic on my CBR and what a pain. I spent many hours fitting them and then i ended up heat wrapping my headers and using a ceramic heat barrier inside all the fairings to keep them from melting. The melting temp of ABS is about 220deg f and they will start getting soft at an idle in the driveway. I will never make that mistake again.

I look forward to hooking up with a few riders up here. There are a redicuous amount of officers up here, i will probably end up with a ticket up here.

That is very true. I rode with a guy in corvallis, ONCE who had a 929 and apearently a death wish. A couple weeks after we rode togeather he eneded up losing his licence and spent two days in jail after trying to evade the law. I like my insurance just the way it is so i tend to be a little more cautious. if you want to go fast and have fun go down to hwy 36 in cali from redding to the coast. there is nobody out there except good pavement and a lot of corners.
