![]() ![]() Joined: May 2011 From: LaCenter, WA I Ride: 2003 Copper SV1K | Who wants to see Nels down here? Talked with the guy a couple of weekends ago, and we need 10 or more people to get Nels down here. I haven't talked pricing yet, I wanted to feel out if I could get enough people for him to make a trip down. Once I have enough interest in this, I'll call Nels up, get pricing and set a date. Most likely it will be a Saturday, and probably at Hoodview Performance as has been done in the past. He can also do ECUnleashed, with no need for a PowerCommander. Reflashing your stock ECU is a possibility now! His usual rate is 175 for a custom tune, but he hinted that if we got enough people, he'd reduce that. So, who wants to get their bike tuned up before spring gets here? 8:00am John bmw r1200 9:00am 1. Me - Full PCV tune 10:00am 2. Flaco - Checkup? 10:30am 3. Sentor - Checkup tune 11:00am 4. JDelaney - ECU tune noon 5. PVSter 12:30pm 6. Rod B. - PCIII tune 1:30pm 7. Biz - Remap 2:00pm 8. Stickxb 2:30pm 9. crippy - PowerCommander Tune 3:30pm 10. Rusty Gearz - Powercommander tune 4:30pm 11. ddonaca - PCIII tune Mountaintime, your loss!! The date is one week from today, February 4th, 2012, at Hoodview Performance, 6510 Northeast Saint Johns Road Vancouver, WA. Last edited by RedKat600; 01-28-2012 at 09:00 AM.. |

He smoothed out my fuel quite a bit and gave me few more horsepower all the way thru. Its worth it to have him come down he knows his stuff. Has ECU unleashed now too. ( I won my tune in a contest so figured I owe him at least a few good referrals |

I need him to remap my bike, as it's been mapped by him before. I'd shoot him some money though, though his deal was that anytime you change configs, he'd redo it. |

| Shredder | How much of a difference do you think it would make on my bike? I have a Two Brothers slip-on, but all stock otherwise with about 9000 miles on it. If it will make a noticable difference I would deffinately be interested especially if it is at Hoodview as I like Brian and his shop is only about a mile from my house. |

I just gave him a call and he said he can easily do a weekend day dyno if we can make it worth his while, which in my opinion would be keeping him busy for 8ish hours. I put him up at my place when he comes down and we can do it over at Hoodview Performance over on St.John's in Vancouver. I have enough stuff to keep him busy for an hour myself. But like I said we need to make sure there is enough real buisness to make it worth while. Also would need to set a date at some point. Feb 4th-5th or Feb11th-12th I will be out of town on the VBN beach trip the weekend of the Feb18th-19th so that weekend is out. Anyone else have an opinion? People need a couple weeks to be ready or is everyone ready now? |

Hell I wish he'd come down here and tune mine again! If anyone is on the fence, get off of it. This is much like buying a new bike for less than the cost of a set of tires. |

| Endorsed Joined: Oct 2009 From: Vancouver, WA | February 4-5th works better for me. I'm stuck at work all weekend, every other weekend. But if it has to be on the 11-12th I can talk a buddy into taking my bike down to Hoodview or where ever. |
