 I think I'll still be there by KSU, but if not, I know the route (assuming you're going CCW and doing canyon road) and I'll see what I can do to find you on SR14. | |

Oh, and the cop that pulled me over as SR-14 was merging into I-205 wanted to tell me that I cut across the "gore point", the section in between the white lines of the lane that I was in and the lane that my lane was about to merge with. I guess it's a no man's land marked with white chevrons.  Anyway, checked my license, had me take off my helmet and sunglasses to see my pretty face.  Then gave me a warning about this whole Gore Point thing and sent me on my way.  |

I left the 'couv for Cougar at about 10am and was just going to stop for a danish and a coffee, then decided, screw it, I'm going over the top! Rode the rest of the loop back over to Carson and back in. Had a great ride. Met a couple bikers from Vancouver BC while I was at the McClellan Viewpoint. They were spending all this week just exploring the great roads around the mountains and the gorge. |
