    Joined: May 2011 From: LaCenter, WA I Ride: 2003 Copper SV1K | Maintenance day.... I've seen some other areas do one of these....any interest in our neck of the woods? Ok, here's my thought. I have a shop, I have tools, I have sync gauges. I have all kinds of crap we need to do this. I even have a BBQ! I have some knowledge too, so do other people. Catch: I don't have valve adjustment shims. If you need those, or THINK you need those, bring your own. If you have an FSM, bring that too or we can look them up and download one. Bring supplies for YOUR BIKE if you can. I don't have oils and all that other stuff, but I do have 3 oil pans and cans to put the used oil in. I have carb dip too if you really, really need it. I also have a welder and torches if you need some SMALL things welded up like kickstands, etc. Please keep it small and simple......don't abuse this day and what it's for: Give you pointers and teach you how to work on your bike!! IE, no complete engine rebuilds, etc. Brakes, clutches, valve adjustment (possibly). Also keep in mind I have limited tools, so please bring your sharing pants with you. August 18th/19th, my place. Start time: 10 AM/whenever you get here End time: Whenever we get done. Preferable thought, work 18th, ride the 19th. If you can, bring some food or beverages PLEASE. If interested, PM for address. This is my only free weekend until September, so let's make it a good one, shall we? | Superbiker  | Awesome! The Zed needs oil change and chain cleaned and wax Can u pm your address and contact info? I might try to get a fork brace a d some brake pads for her too. I have an accessory switch that I might solder up if there's time and energy left for that. Or I might just opt for a full fluid change. |
