Is that too late? |

If you want to stick with Tuesday, it may just be a skip the coffee deal and go for a ride to learn new things. | |

I'm heading out for a New Rider Ride right now - starts at Sylvan Chevron and Starbucks at the 'top' of 26, Sylvan exit. Talk starts about 5:45 usually, rolling about 6:30 BUT - based on the info I've gathered and roads I am pretty familiar with out toward Washougal, I think I'm gonna stick to those roads above, for now. and - August 28 is looking like a good day! this is comin' together!!!! ![]() ![]() |

I don't know of any that are 24 hours a day!! major bummer! So - It sounds like a Tuesday ride would preclude Vancouver's coffee night... Soooo... thinking... how about this: The plan of moving the meet up closer to Vancouver is so we can have enough 'discussion time'. (I recently had someone tape me and watched the discussion - one thing stood out... it is RUSHED. Because there is usually a lot to put out, but we all wanna go ride!) anyway - we hook up as close to 5:30 as possible. Maintain the 'chat' to an hour. Then go ride... then, since it appears this will dampen Couve's coffee - why not just roll into Ava's? I can probably talk Brady into reserving a little portion of the lot just for the visitors! Honestly, not the best for me - Tuesday night, I need to end up in Camas, at work. so, I was stoked about ending the ride over on that side! We could still do that. Maybe at a Taco Bell or something? Then, I could spend a little more time answering questions spurned from the ride before rushing to work... How about this - Let's set August 28 as the date. I will try to scout out a spot this weekend for a good meetup that is both close to 'couve and my twisties (St John's area is actually about mid way, and evening traffic is working for you coming south)... and the question on the table: post ride plan? WORD! (as far as 'continuing': I hate rain! (and live in pdxb ) And - I'm usually not readily available on a 'normal' schedule - I would LOVE to do what I did a couple summers ago!! (I was unemployed and did new rider rides every week and probably a hundred one on one coaching sessions! But, alas, life, job, ugh. Stay safe everyone!!! |
