Was wondering about that. The only useage I found was referenced above.

Actually I'm just opinionated and I don't mind hurting peoples feelings on the interweb. I'd say the same thing to you in person. I love seeing people in Che shirts, which I'd bet you have. I tell them; "I love the shirt, dead commies make me smile."

But you missed the point completely. Yes I do think you were flaunting yourself, the little red star on your hat is awesome. What's it mean?

I had family in Russia, most of them were killed. My Grandma saved her mom and sister, and they were the only people in her immediate family to survive communism.

That's why I choose to post in your communist propoganda (Propaganda) thread.

Once again missed it completely. It was an attack against your beatification of communism.

I'll save you some time, beatification is spelled correctly, as was bourgeoisie, that's how you spell it when you use it as a noun.

Aren't you supposed to be some type of English major?

You think you are so worldly yet you espouse one of the greatest sources of human evil and misery left on the planet.

I hope to travel to China one day, and I think it's great actually that you can bring a little free market capitalism there(Their) way. But you kid yourself if you think that the people in China are free. It is nothing more than a human concentration camp designed to enrich the people controlling the government.

But have fun, maybe take some time to find the mass graves dug for the 45 million people killed during the great leap forward it was only 50 years ago. I doubt they are marked though, probably history they don't want their people to know.

The Nazi's were great too, so was Stalin, top notch guys all of them. I'd put any of them up with the Pope and Dalai Lama, but definetely(definitely) a notch or two below Mao.
I'm probably missing some obscure spellings though.

Enjoy the superior rights and priviledges afforded to the wealthy, avoid the starving farmers and sweat shops though. The proletariat masses may covet your wealth and priviledge.

Great idea!

Fuck that...this thread just got good. What's not to love: beer, basketball, women - cute smile by the way, cheap whores, politics, sarcasm, spelling, leftists, rightists, personal attacks (not directed at me) and nazis. Win!

Those aren't shirts of a dead commie. Those are shirts of a live one. They never made any shirts of a dead Che. Now if they made those, I might like to have one.

Whoaa... Awesome thread.

Are_Six, you can consider me a fellow traveler, a communist sympathizer... whatever you will. My girlfriend is a member of the CPC, and so is my sister-in-law. And like any government, the CPC gets a lot of complaints. But you can't simply say that the Chinese people aren't free. What's your definition of freedom?

Does anyone wanna bring up the helmet law? (yeah, if you didn't guess, it doesn't exist in China). How about traffic laws? (They are merely guidelines... and rarely followed and never enforced).

And alcohol laws... well, they don't tolerate drunk driving, which should be refreshing to most of us. The first offense for drunk driving is a very steep penalty... chronic repeat offenders can actually face capital punishment if their offense is severe enough.

But, for fucks sake, open bar is quite common. I'm going to miss unlimited drinks at the bar. Jesus, the bars love to give alcohol away. And having the freedom -- having the trust of the law enforcement -- to open a beer and take it wherever the hell I damn well please is quite refreshing.

Imagine walking into a supermarket and buying three 24 oz bottles of beer. Now imagine the clerk asking how many you would like opened. Then imagine walking out of the store, onto the street, onto a bus, off the bus, and then into a park with an open bottle of beer and a couple more in your pack. Quite brilliant.

Meanwhile, I live in the land of misconceptions and horrors around every corner.
