Lightbulb We should take a vote for location of bike night!
I think it might be a great idea to take a vote for locations for bike night. What we have seen in the past with our car club is that if the locations got changed a lot, there weren't a lot of people that came. Lost a lot of people as matter of fact. Our membership went down. Now since we have had the same locations, our club has had a stable amount of participants in the meetings. There is no confusion just in case someone wants to show up. A "sure thing". I would feel awful bad if someone wanted to stop in at the meeting and no one was there because we changed it at the last minute. I really doubt there is going to be very many people this next weekend. I know we have plans for that weekend (Memorial). Let me know what you think? The general consensus.

I completely agree.
I believe we need a poll of a few places which fit the bill, good home grown beer (sorry it just sounded right) good parking, off of a main drag and centrally located. Then after a few weeks of the poll, make a decision. It isn't a huge hurry except we do need to build our group/family asap.

I would (personally) like us to find a back era or old school establishment which isn't real popular and make it fit us. Request they carry certain beverages, special foods and such and if we support the establishment it would be an easy thing. I will vote if I know which I would like, since I won't be here for awhile.

Interestingly enough the questionable places of today could actually become a perfect fit if we give them a chance, Jus say'n!

I didn't post that 1 day in advance to mess people up Just wanted to throw it out there if someone wanted to join up for a beer. In the past its been very easy to change locations as it was just a handful of us. With all the new members now, I see its not so easy. So when we put up Coffee & Pie night..(for my gurl) or Belgian Night...or whatever, there won't be any confusion lol. There's so many great lil places and all that we have tried and they have been so great to us, no matter the size. Where ever we go, were a great contribution.....They make money!

i liked the last place because we had our own private room... worked out well. parking was very nice and being able to see the bikes throug the glass was nice.
beer was decent service was good and mainly the privacy was the best part.

oh and its closer to my house

it can be confusing the always be changin the location thoguh. nice we had cell phone numbers of most people to call and remidn them when half of us were here and half were there.

I am looking for a way to incite a response for the site and use my ride as the tool.

In fact, I asked Beans as well, but not much interest I think.

I am trying to figure out the "Spot" and which address's to use so everyone can watch the ride. Nothing to report yet, after today it should be figured out. I hope.

7 days and I am away!

Of course I would have come to help, although you must have turned off the puter and I left for the firk'n. I am now into my work week. Sorry, I would love to help, but maybe tomorrow evening? If you all need it, OK?

Da RevMark was at the firk'n, with us, counting stoppies (no not that kind) I heard eleven, dang!

Nice evening. No sign of a few of the regulars, but a great turnout for the Memday weekend meet up.

I watched with constant comment as our local revenuers ripped off the other guys to pass the savings on to us. We wear our seat belts, and of course never speed. It must suck to be them...........I wouldn't know...

On that note, the standing guard (cop on foot) wasn't impressed with my horn and loud bike as I left. Tough t*tties, I might think, but would never say that outloud.....

Well Gus the count was 13 when i left and there were two others working 112th north of us as well. I gave a wave to the cop on foot as I was leaving but he didn't wave back... I guess he was too busy protecting us to wave

an under cover pickup on 112th had one (not count in the 14)

was a great night -- we are out next week end as we are riding to the capitol with ABATE__ if any one cares to join us.

Whether or not the group finds a better place is not unwelcome, although could ruin the bike nights as we know them. I still suggest it is destructive to move the meeting night place around.

If the Rock looks good, lets go there on our own and give a review of it for a possible permanent change, but to switch around while looking will guarantee the numbers of meeters will never be there like we enjoy now.

Having a dedicated place has been working out well. Now only if we can get some concession from the local pub since we are regulars there…how about a round of drinks on the house sometime …Gus, who do you know there again?

Courtney was laid off of the frog (that just sounds kinky), although she was working for a city job and she was close to getting it when we decided to make firk'n our haunt. So I would bet she made it.

And Galen your quite charming, hell if I was a girl, I'd go after you......

I glance at her every now and then... I think she might have giggled once. Actually, on Saturday I saw her driving in her car... I honked and waved like crazy but she pretended to not notice me me... so I got in front of her and then accidentally stalled my engine at the traffic light trying to show off.

lol smooooth.

Good move, she noticed you for sure. Yet you should be notified girls can be detrimental to motorcycles.....What a paradox, HUH?

I would drop motorbikes in a heartbeat, but don't tell MaGus.... She really doesn't think I would.

Tonight she asked about what she should do about my "mistress'" while I am away..... I simply answered keep them full of fuel!
