1967 VW Baja Bug, TURBO 1600, All Rebuilt/Restored, Great Deal! $1800 **SOLD**
I have a lot into this bug. I bought it as a project a little over a month ago, dumped lots of money into it unfortunately for me now i have to sell it to pay bills(and a a recent speeding ticket i got in the baja..), it has never even been offroad! It has many new parts:
New KYB GR2 shocks/coil over rear, new shifter rod bushing, door panel covers, 1990 mustang seats, 31-32" tires in the rear, some meaty studded tires up front, pan has no rust, drivers side pan was replaced, entire pan covered with rubberized undercoating, tranny and front suspension treated with POR15, fresh metallic silver/dark grey metallic two tone with clearcoat painted inside and out. As for the motor it's a stock 1600 that was recently rebuilt by me(very low hours, new bearings, etc..) with a AiResearch TO3 turbo pushing 6lbs of boost with a 2bbl carb(have all the parts to remove the turbo if you want, but it's dead reliable) I have less than 3 hours total useage on the motor and bug itself and i've never gotten it muddy. There are no problems with this baja, need to sell to pay fines and whatnot, Thanks and you can contact me at markclark250@yahoo.com or call/text anytime (360)580-5468
-Mark
Asking Price: $1800 OBO Runs And Drives Great!-possible trade for?

So did you build two of them or do you just like posting a lot?

Too bad you only posted a link and then your ad was flagged. Now no one else can see what you're selling. Ah, now we see the idea behind that rule...

That's pretty sweet, even for a non IRS rig, and your not asking the moon for it either. I'm still sitting on a 1600 Dual Port w/IRS tranny and all the Baja stuff that goes with it. Good luck on yer sale.

It does not look like the turbo outlet goes anywhere! And is that a second carb in there on the intake manifold?

Are these mid project pictures?

yeah they're mid project, i have since made a dual port intake with a 2" curved tube welded to the top fit into the turbo's 2" outlet(using a rubber coupler hose with 2" tube inside of it to keep it from collapsing under vacuum). And it has a downpipe now, albeit straightpiped(quieter than the old stinger)
