Don't become complacent.
Life comes at you fast, and so does death. A buddy of mine just sent me this video. It's not graphic in any way; however, I'm sure you can imagine what happened to the driver. Always keep your focus, because you never know when the Reaper is going step around that corner.

And that was posted at a site called, "Laugh at other people?"

I found nothing humorous about that.

A large dose of stupidity, but no humor.

I read the news article (sometime in '0 and the driver suffered a broken arm, and mangled leg but lived, he was driving past the drive through. He misjudged the overhang.

Watch it again and see how small an edge is caught on the 5th wheel. The roof smashed the door and the side, but missed the main part of the truck.

Sure enough, my buddy just sent me a reply stating that "she" lived; of course, he coined his original mail as "women drivers."

Either way, that was just seriously messed-up!

Edit: NO KIDDING! That lucky SOB... you can see how little of the awning actually hit the truck at :09. Check out the separation between the shadow and front left wheel:

... okay, I can start to chuckle a bit now.

Could be a "she" for sure.

Things happen sometimes and if it doesn't kill ya, you will be stronger and smarter.

I'm sure it was built just fine, just not engineered for things to run over it
Watch the jolt the truck takes when it hits; it had quite the momentum. 5mph coupled with that ~5-6000lb truck plus a 14-15,000lb trailer adds up to a lot of force.
