that guy needs to learn how to ride his zx14, 800hp is really fast but skill is definately a factor in that situation.

for sure... i feel like he is starting a gear or maybe even two higher than he should in this race. shouldnt his front tire be lifting off through 3rd/4th if he is running it WOT to redline?

Pretty impressive to see a car hold it's own against either one of those bikes let alone beat them (asshat issues aside). Although it looked like he wasn't able to take the Suzuki (and barely the Kaw) until it hit 300kph... de-limit and re-run!!

I understand that cars have an aerodynamic advantage at those speeds, but I'd still like to see it done right.

Super Street Bikes did a story on this with a ZX 14 this month.
Integra Camaro Vette Mustang and a Viper
all of which were modded (Viper nearly 1000 HP)

14 won on all of them.
run was a start from 60mph to 120mph

test could have been better, if they did a couple more runs

Run wasn't from a dead stop. If so, the 14 would have been out of sight. Two, the 14 has a speed governor. Three, the guy couldn't ride worth a fuck. He didn't even tuck in. At real speed, you can't sit in the position he was in. Four, any car at anything above 180 is going to have an aero advantage over any superbike.

sorry, i meant 324kph :D

and if you delimited the 14 i dont think it would break 200mph

and are you joking transported? off the line AGAINST A GT-R? ZERO wheelspin, its AWD and even with its stock 420whp it gets 0-60 in 3.3, with 800hp im sure it would be in the low 2sec range because the guy doesnt have to worry about shifting either, the 14 would take him from say 120 to 170, then after that its all about raw engine horsepower and aerodynamics...and the zx14 has the advantage in neither

ZX14 is capable of a 2.5 sec 0-60 time. That's a lot faster than your stock 420 hp car, and is that 800 hp model going to be able to prevent wheelspin off the line, even with AWD (and not burn out a clutch)?

Meh, Cycle Barn took a bone stock 06 to Bonneville and hit 193 (KHI didnt get the limiter right)
The stock 14 gets it by almost .5 seconds 0-60 and decent 1/4 milers get in the high 9s.
Dont think the car turns 9's.
Still, one nasty car.
Did a rolling race against a Z06 vette. I pulled him but it was really well driven and closer than I thought possible. Sensibility had the driver backing out of it about 130ish. I was curious if it would have stayed close when I grabbed 5th & 6th. As it was He vanished from my mirror when I hit 5th.

theres no way that 14 would get beaten by only 800 horses, even with stock gearing, loose a tooth in the front and that car is only gonna catch up once top speed is reached, plus the guy isnt tucked, hes wearing jeans flapping in the wind, cant hear the bike at all so hes not even taking off at a decent rpm, even just the confidence of truly twisting the wrist out all the way is missing, and my bike would smoke taht car with me on it so a 14 should have no problem.

votes are unanimous, guy on the 14 doesn't know what he's doing. I love those GTR's though! the GTR (100k$) is faster around a track then a (5 million$ Bugatti Veyron)!!!! Holy Shit kind of handling!!

so basically everyone agrees the zx14 (with a good rider) would win up til about 160 or 170...then would get stomped, as the gtr goes to 210mph pretty easily...now, i want to see a turbo, lengthened busa against this same car...mild tune and low boost i love bikes and cars, but once you introduce more torque into the equation with the addition of a turbo, the cars stand almost no chance
