WWU rider down...
Hey guys
This morning about 9:30 a fellow university student, Nathan Lehman, his some gravel and then a telephone pole somewhere out west of town. He was taken to St. Mary's, then airlifted to Spokane, where he is in critical condition. I hear that things are not looking good.
Keep him in his prayers.
His two brothers were riding with him, both unhurt, and his little sister goes to our school as well...

Are you the same Katanagirl who goes through Plaza Way Starbuck's drivethrough every morning?

Yes, I know I spend way too much money at Starbucks but I'm totally addicted, I can't help it.

Any updates on your friend Nathan?

i guess Spokane couldn't do much for him, so he got airlifted to Seattle. He broke multiple bones in his body - both clavicles, ribs, pelvis, femur, and punctured at least one lung, etc.
He was in a coma for a while, but he has come out of it and has responded to doctors - squeezing hands, nodding, etc, so the outlook looks a little brighter. As of this morning i heard that they were not able to do surgery on him until his blood pressure was back to normal, so i'm not sure if that has happened yet or not.
