Hey all, Im the new guy in town! HAHAHA...I live in Pendleton, but since there are only like 3 sports riders here, I thought to myself, Walla Walla is only an hour away! Would love to hit up another weekday bike night next time you have one!

Hey there! Moved to College Place over a year ago for work and ride as much as I can. Normally I don't get weekends off, but hit me up either way if you want to meet/ride. I ride a 2007 Suzuki M109R with lots of modifications to it! I'll post pictures soon, or track me down on Facebook or Myspace and I'll add you.

There's not too much pork served in Walla Walla. I've seen more stray hogs on highway 12 and I smell lots of bacon around school zones! College Place is about the same too!

Thnx 4 Heads up .. They do not snap their heads and almost crash flippin a uturn to get behind ya i noticed this week .. passed 3 yesterday and they didnt even notice my presence . Was doin 5 over too .. SWEET

Hey, I've been riding for a few years now, first dual sport and now sportbike...I ride an 88 FZR400. I was living in the La Grande area and cut my teeth on sportbike riding up there, but now i'm back in Walla Walla...unfortunately lack of a good job and a 2inch piece of metal in my back tire have ended this season for me prematurely...but maybe next spring?

Here's some pics of my bike...good to see there is somewhere sportbike riders around here actually congregate.

Nice! Wish ANY of my VTR250's were that clean and straight. What size/type tire do you need? There's a good chance someone on the forum has a takeoff that'd be good enough to get you through at least a couple months for cheap or free - try posting in the classified section, perhaps?

VTR250?? Those bikes are awesome! You don't happen to have a black one do you?

I wish my bike was as clean as it looks in the pictures, lol.

It's a 160 on an 18" rim...a Pirelli Diablo Strada. Probably not a very common size except for on FZRs...

Well - counting parts bikes, I have 6. The black one I own, but my daughter rides. The one I ride is in original 'Miami Vice' colors - see the 'ride to Walla Walla' thread in Central for a picture.

As to the tire - you might try hitting up dartmanx5 in the Wenatchee forum, he's got an older FZR and might have or know of something. (I did a little looking after my first post and it looks like the original tire was a 140/60-18?)

I didn't even know there were that many VTRs in town...I've only seen one before the other day, when I saw a black one at Albersons I wondered who would ride a VTR around here.

I may just wait till I have the money for a new tire, I haven't heard of many people running the Diablo Strada or 160's on an FZR...Yeah, the stock is a 140 but my bike is far from stock and it would probably be strange to ride with a 120 up front and a 140 out back. Honestly though, the Diablo Strada was what was on the bike when I got it and I can't imagine going to something with less grip. I love that tire.

It's okay though, I probably need to focus on getting my Suzuki SJ410 ready for the fall and winter weather anyway.
