Thumbs up
Well, I guess I should have looked at this earlier. My wife and I hopped on the Triumph this afternoon and headed out along the Wenatchee River, and through the orchards following the little roads. Really nice, relaxed ride. Terrific fall colors. Stopped at Anjou Bakery for coffee and pie. Very nice!

Glad you had a good ride, Guy. We did too. Made my annual Little Wenatchee ride. We were late for the Fall colors but the weather was good and the roads were awesome as usual. We were surprised to find Don and friend at Plain when we got there on our way back. The North Road still has a ton of closed signs but was open as can be. The hair pin under the track is nice and smooth now.

I was almost wishing I had brought the electric jacket but it wasn't so bad. Especially in the twisties where we burn a few calories. I got to ride Steve's bike with the heated grips. I'm sold on that little piece of technology.

The FJR is now officially on my wish list. That thing is Mr. Smooth. I felt like James Bond wearing a white dinner jacket, every hair in place. The big black bomb greasing into corners like an F-15 without a hint perspiration.

I couldn't have said it any better myself. What a Cadillac- smooth quiet, yet very responsive and a great sportbike feel. I didn't want to get off of it... I was ready to head to Montana, but since he was on my SV I figured he'd probably catch me. Looking back I guess I should have rode the Magna, then I would have had a better chance.

That's Mr. Flatchypants there in the black/blue Joe Rocket who has that nice Yami. I told you I would Steve...

A pic to prove three crazies were there...
