240hp no torque SLOW AS BALLS.

the s2k is good for one thing autox. which is a sport designed for slow cars.

the hemi charger would destroy the s2k around any other type of track. its much much faster. first straight. see ya

s2k are slow and worthless... at least stock.

First of all, the guy driving this car needs some practice and S2000's are chick cars.

But I like how Sport bike riders, who typically recognize the importance of racing classes, fail to see how such classes would apply to cars.

I for one am not terribly impressed that a car with a 6.1 liter Hemi can beat a car with a 2.0 liter engine.

It's the same as taking a gixxer 750, racing a ninja 250, then talking shit about how slow 250's are.

Who needs 240 hp 200 is more than enough:

http://www.caterham.co.uk/assets/html/showroom/csr.html

Caterham 7 CSR200

If you REALLY NEED to go faster:

http://www.caterham.co.uk/assets/htm...lightr500.html

Caterham Seven Superlight R500

Hey, right down the street from me. Guess I'm glad I wasn't on the road at the time.

PS- My girl wants the S2K...she always tells me how cute they are every time we see one on the road.

The s2000 is a decent car but it is really overpriced for what you get, besides being like an 8-9 year old design with minor updates it just can't compare to the other options in the price range even just looking at japanese cars. Mitsu Evo, Sub STI, and the 350z are all faster and better choices for roughly the same price and the evo/sti especially are way faster out of the box, and fairly cheap to make even faster up to a certain point. And all those have had some serious updates/redesigns since the s2k came out. When it first came out it was decent compared to what was out there since the japanese had stopped bringing all the fast turbo cars over here in the mid to late 90's, but now its just sad.

yeah like a ninja 250 on 4 wheels- nice handling and high rpm but no acceleration.

s2000's are great track cars, silky smooth transmissions and handles awesome too. The f20c and f22c are great engines, making the engine rev that hard to make 240hp out of the small thing that it is.

The car did not have any real bad damage, The under carriage took alot of the hit. We were unharmed .
Hey, I was just on that road no more than an hour and a half ago. FUN road, just wish it was 10x longer.

I like to think Auto-X as a sport that is more user friendly in terms of location, accessability, etc .. If you think Auto-X is for slow cars, that's just stupid because not auto-x cars are s2k, miatas, etc.

Wow Walter Rohl is crazy with the footwork!!
