Thumbs up 2 Wheel DynoWorks review
R1 with 165rwhp that smokes @ every shift of the clutch or an R1 with 153rwhp that performs flawless from kickstand up to kickstand down? Horsepower is great but performance makes it complete
**No disrespect to local dealerships or individuals who pay them. This is only a review based on my experience with 2Wheel DynoWorks**
I paid XXX in Lynnwood to tune my bike on the Dyno and load a custom map for $350 resulting in 144.54rwhp
That was my fault!!!!!
Today I met Nels for a full tune with custom map for my '05 R1 and by the end of the evening I was blown away.
Nels is a true professional with absolute knowledge of Sport Bikes and displays overwhelming confidence in being able to push the limits to achieve highest output of RWHP and Performance combo. He started the evening with a background run on his experience and history of Sport Bikes. Followed by a Dyno for Dummies tutorial overview, so it would be easy to follow all the changes and be involved in the entire process. The 2Wheel DynoWorks mobile shop is complete with everything in place as you would find @ your local shops. After numerous power band and full throttle runs, we were complete. Nels walked me thru step by step from start to finish. The end result was a bike that gained rwhp (153.92) and dramaticly noticeable performance instantly.

• Power Band is smooth from low -mid- high rpm range
• Throttle response is instant (wheelies are excellent, because throttle response is consistent and requires little wrist movement)
• Removed lag in shifting points
• AF ratio detailed adjustment (helping improving gas mileage)
• Gain 5.66 hp in low range
• Gain 3.72 hp in mid range

http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/e...z/IMG_3471.jpg

Overall 9.38 hp (started with 144.54 from XXX Lynnwood to 153.92 (73.69torque) @ 2 Wheel DynoWorks
Overall performance feels better @ street speed and @ freeway high speed. Twist the throttle and it moves!!!!

Anyone looking to get their sportbike dialed in to perform on demand and gain horsepower, then Nels is the guy for the job. Contact Nels and get your bike running the way it was design too. Thanks Nels again and Im referring everyone your way~ 2 Wheel DynoWorks

Nels is the man and will be getting my next bike sooner than later to get it custom mapped and running the way that I want it done.

He did my 929 and by far was flawless with everything.

Why pay the $$$$ at a stealership and not be allowed to watch what they are doing to your bike when Nels does it in 1/2 the time and at a 1/3 of the price!

ok I kinda consider myself a cheap skate. I dont make enough money to really mod out my bike. I usually find cheap ways of making things happen. $400 for a custom map is retarded in my opinion unless you have cash flow and you are racing your bike to its full potential. I contacted Nels at 2 wheel dynoworks about a map because its $150. I was hesitant at the time because of the price but I figured "worst case" its will be alot better tuned than I have now. So I took him my bike today and here ya go.

2008 GSX-R 750 with BMC race filter, Akra short hex slip-on, set valve in head pipe removed, cat removed, I pulled 125.9 today thanks to Nels. He did an outstanding job. my power is sooooo much more responsive and I gained a good 5-6 overall. no more backfiring on deceleration and its far more smooth in all take-offs. At $150 for a custom map, he should have customers lined up around the block. totally worth it. call him if you need ANYTHING done with the tuning, it makes a world of difference. there is no reason he couldn't charge 350+ per tuning session. when its set up right its set up right. thanks a million nels

Nels has been great. He told me why he doesn't charge more and frankly it makes sense. The dealerships charge their hourly shop rate plus a fee for using their equipment plus gas and other things.

So therefore that is the reason why it costs so much. Plus I'm sure there is some bullshitting there involved at dealerships. Nels is a no bullshit kinda guy and I appreciate that in a business.

That is what makes me go back to certain dealerships and other things. They are straight business and not trying to bullshit me for dumb things. They bullshit with me as a friend after business is done but that's all.

Thanks guys, You all Rock! Im super happy you guys are happy with the dyno work. Its been a long road getting the dyno up and running the way I need it to but it seems to be working out great. Let me know if you guys ever need anything in the future. I would be happy to put your bikes on the dyno and make a few more adjustments when you guys get more upgrades. Thanks, Nels

And make no mistake, he knows what he is doing. If you want proof, just stop by and have him show you a few of his current projects he has going in his shop.

Nels - considering I just got a 08 gsx-r 1000, give me a few months and the bike will be with you to get a custom map done for this. LOL

Ditto on everything you posted! I took my bike to him on Tuesday. I have an 02 R1 with Full Akro System, Velocity stacks, BMC filter. I loaded the Graves Map and the bike worked but felt sick, a lot of back firing, Huge drop in power in the mid range. Nels worked on it for about hour and half, and now it feels like I have a new bike! I took it to PR on Wed and man she runs sweet! No back firing, linear power through the entire RPM range, very predictable! Nels Thanks for everything! For those of you needing a custom map this is the guy you need to see! Worth every penny, just my .02 cents!
