Short notice - easy dual sport/supermoto ride this morning, north end
Heading out from Everett, probably gonna cruise up to Granite Falls, up the Mtn Loop Hwy to Darrington, then take the forest service roads through the Cutlass Mountains between Darrington and Concrete, eventually looping back down to Darrington. Should be an easy ride - I'll be doing it w/ my DRZ on the supermoto wheels w/ Distanzias.

Holler if you want to tag along for all/part of it. IT's 7:50, now, I'll probably be heading out of Everett sometime in the next hour or two. I'll check and see if there's any interest before I bail.

Otherwise...

Just as I suspected. You're all afraid to get your bikes a little dirty.

Heading out in the next 10 or 15 minutes. I'll be truckin over the Mountain Loop into Darrington in probably an hour or so, and I'll need to gas up in Darrington, so if anybody wants to tag along last minute, wave down the blue/white DRZ or catch me fueling up in Darrington.

Mmmmkay thanks buhbye.

You should join thumper talk, there isnt a supermoto crowd here.....

They meet for rides every weekend and alot after work. Check the NW section. We all get our bikes dirty.....

But they arent "easy" rides

Not that I could make it anyway...just trying to invision it, but that would be one long ass ride from Kirkland for me. I would really like to get out to Granite Falls sometime thou.

No way dude, you could definitely do it! It'd be a day-long ride, for sure, but definitely doable. I did most of this ride a month or two ago (got stopped when I hit snow about 2/3 of the way through it), but rode from Everett down to Fall City to meet a friend beforehand, then finished the day by riding down to Seattle. As long as you start semi-early, it'd be no problem from Kirkland. I'm guessing somewhere between 200-250 miles round trip. It's a fun one and has some great views!

Yeah, I know I could do it....just not sure if i want to. Did 180 miles Saturday. Fun times, but there was way to much pavement involved. I was taking up the rear, just getting dusted. Couple of times couldn't see the road very well. But that was STILL preferable over the asphalt, lol.
