as i was cleaning up the garage/work area...i decided to hop on the bike thats on a lift approximately 14-16" above the ground
bike was on its rear stand on the table/lift
i sat on the bike checking to see if the rear set placement was good and heard something either fall off the bike or off the lift.....i leaned over to give a looksy and could swear i heard someone yell
TIIIMMMMMMMBBBEEEeeeeeerrrrrrr!!!!! as i fell with the bike onto the Turkish red carpeted garage floor
after wrestling myself out from under the bike...i found broken parts that need to be replaced
lesson learned: always check for bbq sauce wherever you are...its reported to have seen bbq sauce on the stand and my tires were prolly off pressure
also...note that when i removed my license plate...some gravel fell onto the stand where the bike was located......i'm also pretty sure the oil i'm using caused weight transfer to the bike to be altered a little
i'm pretty sure that little $.05 piece that fell off my rearstand is also to blame. as the bastard manufacturer does not offer it as a replacement part | this really made me laugh , bummer dude |
