I usually use a partially crushed soda can on the front tire, behind the forks so the motion of the tire keeps the can pinned on the forks and makes the vroom noises. Always worked for me. Til I went around corners |

![]() ![]() Joined: May 2007 From: The Wet Eastside I Ride: CBR 600RR | To answer all of your questions... simply look at the very first post in this thread. As for the "no nonsense" infraction, it is clearly explained on the rules page as you saw. It is indeed intentionally broad. One question you asked that isn't addressed: ![]()
Aside from all that, help me get this straight (not really required, but it's funny typing this out): - I clearly called out a simple policy nearly a year and a half ago. - Someone asks about bumping a particular thread and I answer that it's not kosher. - Someone bumps that thread (intentionally) and makes a smartass comment while bumping it. - That person gets infracted. - That person now implies that I'm Hitler. I love this forum. Allow me to ask one quick question: What part of the "no bumping old (date/time/ride/gathering) threads" is bad policy? I'm open to hearing why you do and/or don't like it. | Endorsed Joined: Oct 2011 From: Bellevue, WA I Ride: Very slowly on a SM610 | You may think it's funny, I was about to take a day off from work to join the ride, and the only reason I didn't was that I ride a supermoto and didn't know the pace so kept reading till on the 2nd page there was something about the ride being a Saturday. You want to fight with MM - go outside or take it to PMs. This time no harm was done, but this is funny exactly in the same moronic way as oiling someone's wheels and watch him slide. |
