3 1/2 tours in the central highlands of Viet Nam. Mostly around An Khe, but I also spent some time in the Arizona.

Bosnia 2001, Kosovo 2001-2002, Iraq March 2003 (3rd Infantry Division), Iraq 2004-2005, Iraq 2009-2010.

I'd come up there for this.

Army,Alpha 2/2 Infantry, 80-83 Honorable Exit. This summer I took part in the Traveling wall escort ride. http://www.avtt.org/ We rode from Marysville rest stop to the Swinomish Casino. Zig zag'n through Mt. Vernon was a buzz. The people come out of there homes to see all that roll by. Still makes the hair on my neck stand up.

It was amazing, with close to 2000 bikes. I hope to see some of you this coming year if they come through but I don't see it on the calendar ? God Bless.

Yeah it was pretty intense at times and other times pretty fun!

I don't remember what the name of my last Bradley was...I had 3 while I was over there...we had to name them with something that started with a "K" since we were "K Trp". One I was on was named "KreigKinder" (War Child/ren)...kind of a cool one. The others were kinda lame which is probably why I have forgotten them.

4 years, and still going, army national guard, 1 tour in in the litter box, made it back no disability been back almost 2 months now, OIF and OND

Yeah I named mine appropriately for the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

And on the plus side we had ODS version so indexing range was a thing of the past. Quicker engagement times for sure.

BTW Melbs, I have that camera you show in your icon, it was and still is my favorite. 1956 Leica m2 dual stroke.

I didnt expect this much of a response from this forum but i guess its not a bad thing, so i suppose with veterans day coming up on friday now might be a good time to get together, but this is just an idea all hit a resturant and get some dinner or something. If anyone likes this idea then lets figure out if we can even get enough vets in or supporters of military that want to join in. supposed to rain friday to bike it or cage is coo but any one down for something like this?
