Who was right? Who was wrong?
I am asking for a friendly debate. This video I saw on the Facebook and am debating with another rider on how the people are both wrong and how one could have avoided the other.

OPINIONS?

ya, My arguement was that if they saw lights coming from behind, why did they not pull over? Is that not a state law where this was taped? And then you dont have to "stand off" 50 feet from behind? .......If that part was obeyed, would the cop(as we now know is an idiot) have brake checked the riders?

Cop is wrong to brake check. BUT for one, you must yield for any emergency vehicles. And only a few of them actually did that. Two you cannot ride within a certain distance of an emergency vehicle with lights on. So basically both sides did wrong. Looks like the cop gave up because no one would abide by the law and its 30 to 1.....

^ YES...and we can all only assume..BUT...IF the riders did obey the law...pull over...allow Emergency vehicle to pass....stay back 50feet.....Then would the brake check have happened? I highly doubt it.

Yes, when they saw the lights they should have moved over instead of being asshats. But after watching the whole thing the cop was just throwing his dick around and being an asshat as well......Verdict?

F em all!!!

why didn't somebody... KICK HIS MIRROR OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
Bwhahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahahahhahaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe prospects are STILL asked..."will you do ANYTHING, for the club?..."
Prospects... for MORE, than coffee makers and bike washers...
Bwhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaahahahahahahahah ahhaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really... what about 4000lbs, a freebie to "pit" you, ...roll down. draw down and shoot you, don't they get about a LEO w/ lights on.?

Play all ya want... both sides... ya get what ya get. Bottom line... that LEO ONLY has to answer to HIS superiors.
THEY SHOWED HIM?... nope.
He show'd them?... from the point of sheetmetal vs buzzy mosquito, it COULD have been CARNAGE and the WORSE day ALOT of riders could have EVERY, NOT IMAGINED.
"Did you SEE that"???... mans NOTHING, run over... but in the investigation.
A moot point ,w/ your guts hang'n out...

Typical club mentality..."in a group, I CAN do anything I want"... "pull 1 over, ya pull 50 over..." works , till the FBI sizes up the club (ALREADY happened)... think the Prez and Road Capt "want the tail, wagg'n the dog"?

Brake check someone?... FELONY ROADRAGE IN WA. From an LEO???... INSANE.
I WOULD have plated and TURNED HIS ASS IN... REGARDLESS the previous situation. Again, for HIS "superiors" to decide.
That whole gig had TRAGEDY, tagged ALL OVER IT... FAIL, ON ALL LEVELS.

Warning: I am drinking Tequila right now.

Rippin, as par usual is has go it, but it is called "Pack mentality".

I just spent the day in training so we "In our club rides" can avoid the "pack mentality".

These guys were all in the wrong. What if he was responding to a officer in distress or a domestic disturbance and someone got killed before and officer could get there......all because they wouldn't let the cop go by them.

If I were them I would pull the video before the DA decides to copy and investigate.

I Ride: Yes
Its hard to tell but it also looks like...

1. The bike that got "braked checked" wasn't looking straight ahead

2. The cop had to quickly brake because another bike shot out in front of him.

Still seems kinda weird why after he got some open road he didn't take off and try to gain some ground to whatever he was responding to. Maybe he thought he was going to pull some of them over then realized that was impossible due to being extremely outnumbered. The problem with Youtube videos is they never tell the full story. Being in law enforcement I feel bad for that guy but he despite how the video looks, he definitely could have handled that better.

He was most likely responding to the bikers, trying to break things up a bit. The bikes were wrong, but none of it bothers me, except why the Fuck do people on sportbike want to ride freeways?! That is not what they were made for and the ride sucks on interstates. Go find a fucking canyon road.

This
I watched this a couple of times. The cop didnt' brake check anyone. He was moving over two lanes with his lights on. The asshat behind tried to pass him. The asshat in front cut him off.
But you're right...The vid never tells the whole story.

Biker(s) were in the wrong but that doesn't excuse the brake check.

If you see the flashing lights, pull over and let the EV go by. If you violated a law, adult up and accept the results.
