| Streetfighter Joined: Mar 2008 From: Kingston I Ride: the short bus ....... with your mom in the back. | I'm sure you'll look into it, but didn't you have problems with the gsxr seat height starting out? Make sure you are able to modify whatever you get to suit your needs. I've given up on selling bikes. I'm getting my first bike back in a few weeks. I'll never sell another one as long as I can afford top ramen, unless I do something stupid and buy a Suzuki. Congrats on picking the best department (engineering), you should be graduating soon? As a recent grad, I can tell you that you'll look back and won't believe how it flew by, even though while you were doing there it seemed to take forever. And how the fuck do you afford a brand new 848 as a student? That is nuts. Congrats on how ever the fuck you worked that one out. Seriously, you probably made some good decisions somewhere along the line, kudos. As to the attention-whoring, picture posting, poem writing, etc etc. Who cares? Anyone can be a dick and tell you that Facebook or twitter is that way -->, but what the point? Some people use this site as a diary, share their every day thoughts about bike and non-bike related things, some write obituaries for bikes long gone, some give constant reassurances and warnings of safety, some use it to buy and sell shit all day, some use it to show off their latest toy or project, some use it as a playground to start arguments, some use it to learn and meet new people. If it was just a bunch of assholes sitting around circle jerking eachothers' egos, this place would get pretty damn boring. |

I literally drive 10 mins to the same coffee shop every morning even though I could just walk 3 minutes to Starbucks. I like the stability and the Gsxr is a great bike. I love white bikes and I couldn't argue with this deal. Brand new never been dropped ... 600 miles ... White Gsxr for 7 grand cash. The girl had a story to it similar to mine for her bike except she didn't go all out like I did after her ex died. Uh so perhaps this will be a new rescue dog bike ![]() |
