The bike was given a settlement by the tow company, and I lost the bike as it was beyond repair due to a tow truck diver dropping off a flatbed towtruck. I have no bike at all now and can not just buy a new bike as I can't meet credit demands due to low income and no job. I wasn't given enough for repairs on the bike so I had it destroyed. I was wanting to ride even if it's with another person. I would help as much I could I just have bad circumstances and this was the one thing to make me happy. I cant do much but I constantly keep trying to find a way to get a job to buy a bike but they are impossible to find. Just wish to do something I enjoy.

Never crashed the bike it was to go in for repairs wouldnt start and had bad roadside provider and I'm lucky to had such lowball settlement which paid for the old repairs before the damage couldn't afford the 5000 in damages.

If you can't afford to buy/fix your own bike, it's highly unlikely anyone would loan you theirs.

Excellent troll, BTW.

This story smells fishy.

If a towing company really did damage your motorcycle they will give you book value for it.

You do not need to buy a new motorcycle, ever heard of craigslist or the classifieds of this website

Two weeks ago my 1997 Subaru was totaled while it was being test driven by a mechanic . We made a quick settlement. No drama. Of course they give me the value of a 2011 Subaru, but the value of 1997 Subaru.

I do not understand this thread, I going to shut up now.

Yes I just want to ride and I owed the mechanic for the diagnosis and it was the roadside company that gave me not what it was worth the bike was a 96 katana I wasn't given enough and had to move the bike was damaged in February and I just dont qualify for a loan on a bike never said I fully broke point is I didn't want to buy another 1000 dollar bike with extreme repairs most decent bikes are closer to 3000. And I want afford as I had tire.d saves money for other expenses. All I want to do is ride again.

I didn't have full coverage on the bike as I bought it for 1500 and I don't pick the company that towers my bike that was progressive and they didn't get the insurance from the tow company. The guy was flat out a jerk some people don't have jobs now A days and just want a chance to ride

What are "extreme" repairs? Those old Kats are a dime a dozen and easily repairable. Shoot, you can find a whole new motor for a few hundred bucks as any motor from 1988 until 2006 will bolt right in. Pretty much all parts from 1988-2006 are interchangeable with the exception of carbs and plastics.

Asking to borrow someone's bike is asking a LOT. How will you fix it if something happens? You're just asking for trouble dood.

Bike was essentially totaled out and repairs six thousand gas all over the bike broken fairings make matters worse the tow truck driver just threw it off the truck after he dropped it and the police were useless in doing anything. There are many stories of bad towing companies but why fully insure a bike super old without a high resale value. When that being the first bike I owned you learn but wasn't going to move a bike that wouldn't move. Wasn't till I called another tow company it got in for diagnosis..I just legitimatelywant to make friends and ride a bike. Easy to get bored and miss riding certainly a few of you experienced that.

I never said right away but I don't suppose anyone got a bike I could make payments on sadly. And I would want to build trust

The bank won't give you a loan, why would a person? Trust doesn't fix someone's bike when you get cut off by a car. It's an unusual request. I'd start getting creative for income, and start finding a way to make more of it. Get yourself back into a position to be able to ride. There are no shortcuts to anything worth doing.
