I Ride: slow in the fast lane like everyone else...
08.05.2012 Mt. Baker Sunrise run
When: Sunday the fifth day of August 4:00am
What: ride motorbikes to mt. baker for a coasting race from artist point till an obvious winner wins.
where: Meeting @ gas station(11848 NE 85th St. Kirkland, WA 98033)across street from Lee Johnson 3:45ish ksu @ 0400 sharp!

Now that summer is almost over and all the crashing newbs have crashed it's time for the fourth third annual oh dark thirty run up Baker!

*please make note of day & time. this ride isn't for everyone...*

EDIT: gonna slab it up to exit 206 then head east to 9. I'll swing thru the mcChevron in arlington if anyone wants to meet up there. this will literally be a ride thru tho so be ready or catch up. google maps says 50 min from kirkland to mcChevron. anyone that wants to wait on an on ramp on the 5 till we roll by that works too. you'll have to figure out timing on your own tho. We'll stop for gas at the casino in demming as well if anyone wants to join up from there.

If anyone else besides guff is interested post up.

And now for my disclaimer...
I am not "leading" a ride. I'm simply asking if anyone else is interested in going where I'm going. My street pace is extra medium. Meaning I tend to stay within 10mph of the posted limit on interstates and straight sections. I like to wick it up a little for corners but by no means do I pull the pin and try to win the ride. My hope is that you atleast have a vague idea of where we are headed so I don't have to baby sit because I won't.
There will be no "riders meeting".
ksu means ksu. Be there fueled up, helmet on and ready to bounce.
There will be no hanging out at fuel stops. You're welcome to pose if you'd like but once fueling is done I'm out.
Have a plan for if you crash. I am going to ride not pick bikes up out of ditches & help people figure out how to get their shit home.
Shenanigans are acceptable and fun. Know what your doing and don't be a toolbox tho.
I'm serious about guff.

Dammit this ride isn't happening in the past... It's for 2012. Hopefully a mod will fix the title soon.

Since many of you seem to think I post bogus rides here's is last years thread. Hope to see some folks other than guff show up to have some fun.

I Ride: 2012 RSV4 Factory APRC with OPRT
Damnit yardsale, this was supposed to be the next weekend. Unfortunately I'm out this year, I have to help my mom pack her house up to move to Texas. This is an amazing ride for anyone on the fence, definitely worth getting up at 3am.

best part of early rides is that they're over mid morning and you can spend the day drinking/napping.

In, also want to know the exact route if possible. I get lost easily so my asian side needs to study the map and commit it to memory.
