I am unfamiliar with the area and going shopping for a new bike. Can anyone recommend me some places to take a look at?

You do not mention if "new" means new to you or brand new, but worth mentioning that 50% of the bikes Ride West BMW sell are used bikes other than BMWs - most of them is very good condition - plus new and used BMWs of course. What were you looking for?

Buyredline is a drive, but their staff are nice. South Sound BMW has some nice stuff, as does South Bound Honda.

If you are looking for real classic Italian style hit Moto International and take a look at the selection of Guzzis.

New or used. I just prefer working with dealerships because they'll normally tell me what I need to know about a bike (service intervals etc..)

Nothing against private sellers personally, but I don't want to go across the border only to have bought a bike that has been abused or raced to within an inch of it's life.

Also, thanks for the recommendations everyone. I really have to make the most of my day when I do go down there.

M.I. is a block or 3 from Aurora Suzuki, and are seasoned pros, have a rotating stock of used and some amazing previous model year NEW/warranted bikes at USED prices...

Small dealership, so they turn stuff over pretty quick ("No room left! Sell sumpin!")

Besides, the Euro stuff is cool...
