| Race Qualifier | Daniel, glad you and the others made it out. Thank you. Sorry for not being able to respond. The closer it gets to a race weekend, the less time I have to check the forums. Glad you had fun, hope to see you at our future events. ![]()

| buttsecz man ![]() | So, how was it? Did you have fun? Did you learn anything new? Tell us more. ![]() "If I crash, it's one last thing I have to replace" (in regards to mirrors) You're doing it wrong. You go from a 250 to an R1, not from an R1 to a 250. |

Mid morning a good size pothole opened up between T-8 and T-9, emergency repairs had to be done during lunch to make the track safe to race on. We are held to a strict shutdown time, so we couldn't extend lunch any longer to fit the ToR session in. Thanks for understanding and please come back at the next round! |

Knee dragging is more COMPLICATED than it looks like i was so focused on this and so detirmend on doing it Mistake #1 i was going at a pretty fast pace aproaching turn 1 that i knew i had gone over my head i freaked and chopped the throttle bailing on my body position and gaining a more uprigth position where i felt comfortable again.. Mistake #2, I was aproaching turn 3 and 4 when i realized they were quite more tight then what i could handle, i had a OH SH*T moment, i saw how low i was to the ground, then how close to the inside i had taken the turn, after that i felt uncofortable and fell behind, i had the track to myself for a few turns till a controlled rider signaled me to follow him. After chasing him a few truns and slowly gaining my confidence agian i was able to position my body right and felt way more secure it totally made the TOR a bit more fun than how i started.. Overall a great day.. So i learned on how impotant body position is, where to psotion myself as i go into the turn, one thing i knew but never used was the basic on how to aproach a turn (inside, outside, inside) Yes i was qouting you just didnt remeber who said it.. PS.. A vid will be posted of my TOR experience | |

Get the proper technique and body position nailed and the knee will come when you and it are ready. Anything before that is asking for an accident. If you are serious about track days I would reccomend 2-Fast's school or the OPRT school to start with then build from there. |
