| Chicken Strips  | "...She said there was no way that the driver of the SUV could have avoided hitting the motorcyclist..." Having lived in that area for years, this tells me that the SUV driver was probably tailgating and that the SUV speed was a contributing factor. RIP rider. Condolences to the rider's friends and family. |

Leaving enough time to stop for emergencies and hazzards??? The rider may have made a mistake, but I doubt that he needed to pay the price he did. Why do bicycles get more respect than motorcycle enthusiasts? ? My thoughts and prayers go to the family. |

| Shredder  | People get tickets for hitting deer because they were riding "too fast for conditions". I have a hard time believing that this accident doesn't warrant the same citation. I'm not suggesting that the SUV driver be indicted for vehicular homicide, but too fast for conditions would at least be nice. |

They were headed in opposite directions, rider lost control due to VERY high speed and crossed over the middle lane. Dead upon arrival. There are some other fine details but ya... Ride safe and don't be idiots! Its not a race out there. RIP |
