We recently laid down gravel comprised of rounded stones around our walkways, and it's even difficult to walk on it. When you attempt to drive a wheeled device, such as a wheelbarrow, over the stones, they just push to the side.

It seems that the wrong type of gravel was installed, so don't be too hard on the OP.
Unless the neighbor uses something large, such as drain rock, even rounded rock will pack and is a negotiable surface.

Trust me, I was not too hard on the OP. I could have followed my first reaction to his whining, but I did not wish to head out to band camp.

Sadly, there is probably some shyster that will file the case and some court that would hear it.

Typical of people not there, people not knowing what that gravel is like anbd not even reading early posts where I clearly said it was illegal, alley was public and no permit, etc, etc, etc.

Don't bother responding. I won't read them and I'll delete my eariler posts since this thread when nowhere.

They did nothing constructive so complaint already filed.
I was not home when they dumped the gravel.

Someone else will fall on that gravel. Someone coming in at a slight turn will slide and low side. One does not expect 6" of loose fill gravel at the entrance to an alley. They city does not allow that. They rake it to look smooth which is deceptive as it is not a solid surface but they make it look smooth and solid.

Dumping full width of alley for 100 feet from the entrance of the alley is a little different. I understand filling a hole and can see it. 15'x100' is different. It hides everything underneath.

Filling a pothole is legal - you are required to maintain the alley.

Resurfacing for a length of 100' with material that does not go according to city code and without a permit is not legal.
Hey Op, missed a couple!

Heh heh....I was going to flame that whiny b*tch this morning when the thread was first posted, but got distracted. It looks like everyone pretty much put him in his place.

By his "logic" perhaps I should sue Yamhill County for the "trauma" of having to ride through 4" deep of freshly laid 2 inch minus gravel that went for over 3.5 miles on Nestucca road earlier this summer. Now THAT was knarly. I stayed upright...it just took some patience and care.

Hell, if I can handle that, a young gun on a GSXR should be able to handle that lame shit he's whining about.

This has been the most entertaining thread all week. Maybe he should sue the company that makes Cracker Jack too, as it seems he must've received his MC license as a prize from a box of it.

WTF did I just read? I'm suing for the trauma my life took on for reading all these never minds. Thanks to those who quoted the OP's original post.

I guess I should sue the town of Marblemount for the illegal gravel where I dropped my bike on the side of the road.....

Dropping bikes is a part of riding, it happens to EVERYONE. Grow a pair, shit happens.

God damn twat waffles I swear.

Game on!

Have you thought about suing the company that sold the gravel?
