Skid mark in gravel looks like a front brake crash. Try rear brake in slow speed stopping in gravel. My driveway is gravel like yours but not as nice. I make it 100 yards with an S corner every time I ride the bike. Even on a hill to boot... I learned to ride a motorcycle on this so maybe its just me.

PS. Learned on a 1977 GS750 bored over to 850cc.

Does the city maintain the alley? If they do, call them to have it removed.

It's quite obvious by the pictures how "deep" the gravel is...

If you dropped it at 5 mph, I believe you simply need more practice riding. Don't blame others for your inadequacies.

you didn't drop it cause of the gravel

you dropped it cause you aren't an experienced rider

Good job on blaming the neighbors though.

Looks to me that If the rock was not there, you would be riding in mud at times. Buy a dirt bike and then ride your 500 like one.

Seriously adidasdude, start your ascent to responsible adulthood now. Admit it was your fault and move the hell on.

Who are you gonna blame when you crash in the rain? God?

Take responsibility for your own actions.

Rent a bobcat, and shovel that shit back in their driveway.

That's about the only thing you can do.

PM me your address. I'll bring the bike out there and spin up and down the alley. If you ask nicely, I'll even hold the break, dump the clutch, and use my rear wheel to "resituate" said gravel.... (if I can learn to aim, I'll "resituate" it through their window.) Seriously, take a snow shovel, and clear yourself a path, and leave the rest to your neighbors to figure out on thier own.

You never did answer who owns the alley....the city or the neighbor. I'd be finding that shit out ASAP before I went fucking with anything. It may not in fact be owned by the city and may be owned by them.....especially if they've been there a while. Check the property records before YOU become the one getting sued.
