I went once several years ago, but don't remember the route we took. Anyone have suggestions? Myself and a couple of friends are planning to go if there is a scheduled meet up time/location we might just join up.

If you go on a water cooled bike? Pack a lunch so you have something to do while you wait on the side of the road for traffic to clear.

Been twice, never again. Too many meat heads walking around trying to look cooler than the rest of the meat heads!

It is very fun to walk down the street and see all the different (cough) bikes.....
Like one might have low bars and the next might have high bars or chrome grips or different type of air cleaner. ....it's sooo fun.

But that's what it's all about isn't it? To ride 5 mph for 30 miles just to park and show off your bike?

Count me in.

Seriously OP... why would you spend a perfectly good day (especially as it's getting closer to the end of the good weather) sitting in all that traffic just to bump elbows with a couple thousand people admiring their bikes all day.

So many roads to ride.... so little time.....

there are also ABTOR rides ("Anywhere BUT The Oyster Run") that go the opposite direction.

But, it's worth doing once, AND it'll be great weather.

And if you like to look at hundreds of guys in leather chaps, this is the place.
If you start thinking "Y.......M...C...A!" just don't get TOO excited, if ya know whut I mean, Clem....

I'm just sayin it sucks trying to get there and find a spot way down on some side street to park.
Just to walk around and watch all (most all) the dip-sh*ts riding for the most part the same ol bike wearing the same ol getup.

I guess it would be fun to people watch if there was some place to set(cops run you off). But I'd need a nice buzz on and I do not drink and ride so that's out.

I've heard of people buying bikes just to go to stuff like this. To each their own I guess?
Just too much traffic in and out, kills the whole thing.
Not worth it to people watch.
Also don't like standing in line for hours to get over priced food.

First off, It's not hard to find a place to park, The whole street is blocked off... Second, I'm sure the chap crowd says the same thing about the sport bike power ranger look.... Third.. You just walk the loop and check it all out, Ya know the same ol vendors and all.. Then hit up the McD's for a cheap meal...

Personally It's all about the bikes.. I like seeing them all and it's one of those times where cars are in the minority... All kinds show up.... some will hate, some won't.... It is what it is...... I'm going to check it out and posted when and where I'm going...

It's not like the chap crowd is gonna hold ya down and put tassels on your pegs......

I got a group of people meeting up at the shell station on 128th street just off of I5. gather together around 9:30, KSU at 10ish. We have probably 10 people already going, should be a good mix of bikes.
