| Shredder   | Skills Day 9/16 Sorry for the short notice and brevity, but I'm posting from my phone. I just moved and haven't got internet access yet. Skills day at 9am Sunday the 16th at the Everett Aquasox stadium parking lot. Completely free. Come out and enjoy yourselves. If anyone who has attended one of these will give a summary I'd appreciate it. My intertube access won't be here until next week. |

These guys are really friendly, they don't bring any ego, and they appear to have a lot of experience and are totally willing to share what they have learned. Codeblue might not like this part of my review, but... It's a shitload of fun! Basically it's kind of like a mini track day. They set up this course that turns out to feel like a itty bitty technical little track that you race around. Granted, unless you are on Grant's ktm you can't get out of first gear and you are only allowed to pass on one section. Ok, maybe for the Pete's of the world, not so much, but for guys like me...it's a riot! I would recommend this for anyone. I'd totally do it again. In fact, I think I'll do just that. In...too bad that crusty old hippy dude won't be there. Pussy just doesn't want to get passed by a young squirt like me anymore. | |
