| Peg Dragger Joined: May 2007 From: Tacoma I Ride: 2006 Suzuki gsxr1000 | Fatal Crash My friend Mat Swan crashed his motorcycle last night in Lakewood and died..He was not a forum member.. But still a fellow rider and and awesome person and sadly..no longer with us. He was being stupid and riding above his skill level in a retarded place to do so and this could have easily been avoided. He was going to fast for a residential street.. someone pulled out in front of him..He left the road and crashed into a tree. His leg got mangled and he bled to death. That still doesnt change that the guy was awesome and is leaving family and friends behind.. I will miss him. Be careful out there and learn from this mistake. Icon |

I also feel for whoever pulled out in front of him, specially not being at fault. Watching someone go like that and knowing you had a role in it must be pretty traumatizing. |

It's the nature of biking on roads with cars, but hearing of tragedies like this makes us more careful. The memory of what happened could save one of us from a similar fate someday.
