| Training Wheels Joined: Jan 2008 From: Kent, WA I Ride: A safe one I hope!!! | I forgot I haven't ridden my bike in about 5-6 months. I rode today and saw all the other riders. I forgot how riders waved at each other. I did run into one that didn't wave back though and I was even pulled up next to him at a light. Maybe he thought his Harley was better than my bike I guess. If I offended anyone in here...sorry and see you on the road!!! |

I'd been behind em (attempting staggered, they didn't seem to care) & kept a car 1/2 distance from em to be nice and not come off like an asshat. Eventually i got into the lane next to em pull up and wave and they just stared at me like "fuck off" i LOL'd - they didn't want nothin to do w/me. - i duno .. it was more funny then anything. Maybe I'm just weird because I own a Harley V-Rod & a Buell 1125R, but I wave at anything with 2-wheels... Maybe a fellow rider? I've wanted to wave at bikers when I'm caging it, but I never do... | |

I wave back if it's a chick in a skirt. If it's a dude, I'm all, "Get a bike" and won't wave back. Harley riders rarely wave at me. That's okay because they look too serious to be having any fun on their bike. And they look like they're on a mission for some KFC. |

| Pit Crew Joined: Jul 2007 From: Redmond, Washington I Ride: '08 Ducati Hypermotard S (street) '02 Suzuki DRZ 400S (for the dirties) | I had fun out there today. On the way back from Burlington, A friend and I came upon a guy on a cool looking Triumph cruiser with some fat rubber in the rear and a girl what looked like a Harley (never got to read on the tank though). We would drag with them for a while, then slow down a bit. Did this on and off for a while. All depends on who's on the bike, I don't think the type of bike matters much. |
