Puyallup area Ride today (Mon 2/18)
Got to get the new bike broken in. Going for a short ride today after work if anyone wants to tag along.

Start time: 4pm

Location: Chevron station 176th and Meridian South Hill / Puyallup

Ride will be the usual Orting / Eatonville loop. 1.5-2 hours

Not sure how clear the roads are yet and I can't go over 6k RPM, so mainly just a cruise. ( I may break 6K a little )

Just letting you know in case anybody else in the area wanted to get out

I started riding my Honda last week....just a couple short trips. I should be getting the TL any day now and I can give her a try!

Roads are pretty clear and clean. I rode the Kapowsin, Orting, Green Valley, hwy 18/167 yesterday. I rode up into Orting to the cutoff to 410. I also rode hwy 7 into Eatonville, down 161 into Puyallup. Only a few gravelly areas. Mostly dried dirt in the centers.

Some wet spots in the shady areas, but for a nice bike break in ride, its very doable.

Have fun. And wear some warm gloves.

*might* make it... depends on how much I get done at work today...

slow pace is good for me as well... new bike has shit old tires on it that are hard as proverbial rocks so they get squirmy very very easy..... also noticing that the TL doesn't give as much feedback from the rear as my RC51 did, so it's taking me a while to adjust to a liter v-twin again (about as polar opposite as you can get from my 2-stroke v-twin)

Sorry we missed you. We waited until 4:20. You didn't miss much. We watched a Harley take a corner to fast on Oriville road and wipe out into a barbed wire fence. I seen him coming from the opposite direction and thought he was going to fast, next thing yu know he flew right off the road!!

Stopped to help him along with 3 other bikes, he smelled of Alcohol. He was bruised up pretty good, the bike was damaged yet he seemed in a hurry to get out of there

I'm sure he'll feel it tomorrow
