Walked up to Broadway to get some grub and counted 53 bikes either riding or parked in a little less than 30 minutes. They were everywhere!! Ran into Kie (not literally) up there. Any other forum members tooling around Cap Hill yesterday afternoon? Last edited by KenInSeattle; 02-22-2008 at 07:58 AM.. |

Especially down on the waterfront, I basically had to keep my hand out the entire time in a constant wave because they just kept coming |

| Zone Head Joined: Sep 2006 From: Beautiful Downtown Spanaway I Ride: A POS | I had about 40 riders wave at me from accross the median on 167. I guess finally getting out makes a rider happy. I mean, they were "way" over on the other side of the hwy. I was going on by, like I usually do on freeways. I saw one Harley rider with a German style helmet, and he had a ski mask on with the image of a skeleton. Too much for me. Oh, he did not wave! ![]() I think in the early spring when a lot are out, I am going to get a manequine arm and position it so it looks like I am always giving the wave, so I don't make my left arm tired! |

| WMRRA Qualifier ![]() Joined: Jan 2008 From: teh rock | On Sunday after more yardwork: From Renton I headed up Lk Wa Blvd through Leshi, Arboretum, across the Montlake bridge and on to Fremont. From there I went out Leery to the Ballard bridge and across to to the Fishermans ramp and around Magnolia. Then down the waterfront to the Harbor Island bridge. The HI bridge was swung open and I sat there in the shadow for about 20 min. waiting for it to open for traffic again. Went North around Alki then over the top back to the HI bridge which was swung open. Again. In the shadows. Not again. Went back and took the high bridge back to 1st south and to the Coleman Dock where I sat in the shade again waiting for the boat back to Bainbridge. The sun was out, but WOO it was cold. For some reason I didn't see more than a dozen bikes or so. Nothing at Leshi. Nobody but pushbikes on the blvd. Saw one up near Discovery park South exit. Two parked by Spuds at Alki and One leather Harley guy at the boat that went out of his way to ignore me completely. ![]() |

I certainly like to throw it in before or after work just to work the annoyance of commuting out of my system. |

I left my house about 11:30 and didn't see many bikes out at first but by the time I go to Four Corners there were a bunch of bikes. The weather was good timing because I just got my new Yosh stainless slip on. It looks and sounds bad ass ![]() It was freakin cold though...can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer. I'll be up for some different rides. |

| Endorsed Joined: Oct 2007 From: Monroe, WA. I Ride: '04 Yamaha FJR1300 & '08 Kawasaki ZX14 | It was a beautiful day! Got both bikes & my sweeties car washed. Was going to ride around on my FJR but I discovered that the clutch handle was broke! :( Anyway, took the Zx14 out inside. Rode Ben Howard, saw some PNWRiders in Sultan, then headed east to the Index Cafe for something warm. Smokies out BIG Time with a trap at the gravel pit outside Gold Bar. Then got stuck in west-bound bumper to bumper traffic all the way back! :( Did meet a guy out on his very nice Aprilia Falco with bad-ass sounding 2Bro pipes!. Oh, the stock pipes on my ZX'er are heavenly... very sneaky quiet! Ride safe. Last edited by Monroe FJR; 02-19-2008 at 12:33 PM.. |
