not to long, the route we are taking is pretty straight forward so shouldnt be more then 45 mins to an hour. im expecting more to an hour if we need to stop and chill on the route. we are basically taking Fall city Road from redmond on. nice scenic route but pretty simple which for a noob like myself i can handle hehe.

so basically an hour ride up, take pictures, eat lunch maybe (bout another hour or so) then we can either head somewhere else or just head back.

you should take 202 -> ames Lake -> carnation -> fall city -> then to the falls.

This will give you some good experience on some corners as well.

I may be up for this.

I agree that is a nice route, I love that ride. It only sucks when you get stuck behind a car who speeds up and slows WAY down for the corners then you can't pass. Had that happen a couple months back ticked me off pretty good.

we are most likely going to meet at either wing dome in Kirkland or at the Starbucks. ill post for sure tomorrow on location. and no worries on being slow, i myself am quite a noob to but feel confident in my riding so we are just going to be going the speed limit, no show boating or any of that so no worries

As for Lunch, i hear there is a nice lil town right behind snoqualmie falls that we can have lunch at. im planning to be arriving there at about 12-12:30pm.

you will have to set up a meet place for southenders from rmc to meet with your group. figure out your route so we will know to either wait for you at rmc or ride to your location. we will need a lead and a sweeper. lots of noobs so rules in beginning should be gone through.

I'm going for sure, I could meet at either location, RMC is closer though so I could do either way. Just post up what meeting time is good in Kirkland. I'm sure the RMC guys could meet an hour before so we have time to meet up then group ride up to Kirkland and then go from there.

hehe yikes, didnt think so many ppl would wanna come on this ride. if anyone with a lil more experience leading groups wants to step up and help me out that would be great. this is my first attempt at getting something together and wasnt expecting such a turnout and multiple meeting points etc.

but what i basically have so far is:

Meet at the Kirkland Petco (bigger parking lot). The Address
12040 NE 85th St
Kirkland, WA 98033
Meet up time will be 11am, kickstands up @ 11:20am

Theres a local gas station so you can fill up and get ready.

From there we will be heading to Snoqualmie falls taking this route: (Thanks to Saki600zzr)

Take 202 to Ames Lake to Carnation to fall city then to the Snoq. falls. seems like that should take about an hour or hour and a half. get some good practice on some twisties and whatnot.

now im unfamiliar with this route so again if anyone has done this route before and wants to lead, let me know please!

i plan on having lunch up there around 12:30 - 1pm (due to the new route). i dont know of anything up there but im sure we can find somewhere to eat. (guess pack a lunch if necessary )

i plan on chilling there for awhile, enjoying the view and whatnot and just meeting new ppl. as always you are free to leave whenever just make sure to tell me so i know we dont leave anyone behind

As far as groups go, im not sure how to do this but here is a list of people that are interested in going:

Korea206
Pumbaa
Firepower
Macster
Utkaviator
azfest
Verticgo383
Stinger
Boom2666
Ryder
Bi-Polar
Grantizzle (meet up there)
and my buddy from work who rides a honda shadow. sad i forgot his name

now i know there will be novice riders and noob riders like myself. so im thinking we can split the groups into a slow group and a fast group? let me know if you want to lead and sweep as well.

For everyone thats new to group riding, make sure you read this thread entirely:

http://www.pnwriders.com/general-dis...ding-tips.html

Now for people that are going to be meeting up at RMC in renton, i suggest meeting up around 10:30am or so and leaving as early as possible, i dont forsee traffic being an issue on sunday so it shouldnt take you more then 30-45 to get up to Kirkland.

anyhow, thats what i have so far, forgive me if i left something out. if you have any questions, feel free to TXT me @ 206-409-3928 or email me @ Korea206@comcast.net

Safe riding all and hope to see you all soon

*Korea

Korea, sounds like you've done your homework. Good job for a first meet

Obviously the fastest route to Kirkland is 405, so I'll meet with the riders at RMC at 10:15am, kickstands up at 10:30am so we can be up to Kirkland in time.

I usually run sweeps when I ride with my friends cuz I can keep up with em. I don't know this route even though I have done it like twice. I will take sweeps or back 2 or 3 to watch end riders on slow group. I don't feel like being fast on this one. I would like to enjoy the sights if that's koo.

So 10:15 AM it is then at RMC.

PM Pumbaa so we know who is all in at RMC. That Kool Pumbaa? I will be away from the pc today so I can't keep track.
