12 hours later, i'm finally done-ish
Went to change the oil and put on my new stator cover today but it ended up being so much more. Tiffany took a long time to bring the oil over, so it turned into an adventure!

I'd never seen the inside of the generator before. Pretty interesting.

And on after I pryed the damned dowels out of the old cover for the new one.

I use Yamaha lube to make my Suzuki really fast!

Anyways, Tiff was taking forever with the oil, so I decided to remove the tail to put in the new smoked lenses. Then I decided that since I hate the passenger pegs and don't want them, I would do something about it. This is when it became time intensive. Took me about 5 or 6 hours to grind and sand that piece into what I wanted and have it look good. I think it turned out great!

I like the new cover and lacking of passenger pegs. Now I just need Dave to get back from Texas and paint my plastics so I can put them on

It runs as is. I just still need Dave to paint the plastic. He should be back on the 25th. So another couple weeks probably. Keeps getting pushed back cause the military extended him for hurricane relief.

Not really. I would have taken a couple of days to do what I did today, but I was really pushing to get the busa up again so I wouldn't have to ride the 14 anymore.

Oh, and if anyone has an 08 busa, if you get the yosh full exhaust, the filter won't come out unless you pull the lower radiator bracket. Wonder if they have fixed that yet. I just figured that out today. Pretty lame. Figure they would have designed the far right header tube about 2mm further south to prevent that.

I didn't put it back on the left. I didn't want passenger pegs so I modified the right one and left the left one off. I would have just taken off the right one too but it needs some sort of bracket to hold the muffler up and this way was very free I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.

It only took you about an hour but that was enough time for me to get bored and start doing things that I didn't plan on doing
