Yup, I know what it means. But having it next to your name doesn't neccessarily mean you know diddly about riding. Or it might mean you're mr moto-gp.. Point being that Shanks posted a mistake in good faith, hopefully so the rest of us would be reminded to be careful, and he was repeatedly bashed by an "experienced rider" for it. If he was that concerned, he could do something constructive with his opinions, like organizing a noob-ride or mentoring the younger guys, instead of just "shaking his head at the squids".
Sorry if my comments were insulting, but there are a lot of very condescending people in the bike community. As a new rider, it's hard enough balancing my safety with my desire to learn and hang with the big boys.
I was on that same section of 7 last weekend with a few people from this site. A very experienced rider spent a few laps coaching me, and I scraped my footpeg on that long 20mph sweeper. Not that significant to most, but a big deal to me. I achieved that little milestone because of good coaching, and I am a better rider because of it.

RCJIM.... Even if your posts were well ment, which I think they were, you still came across as a dime-bag. Go back and reread your own posts and tell me they don't sound alittle dime-bagish... I've enjoyed reading many of your posts, but I have to agree with the Doc on this one. Your posts deff came across as rubbing salt in the wound, if you're serious about helping newer riders out, then please take the time to put something together... Even vet riders need some constructive advice sometimes. And maybe the next time you trying to give helpful advice, leave some of the sarcastic remarks in your head and off the post...
Ride safe all!

Hmmmmm Title made me think of this song that i just made up

Have yourself a merry little lowside
May your wreck be slight
you scratched up your fairings and bent your rearsets in tight

So have yourself a merry little lowside
may your roadrash be light
cuz picking gravel out of a wound aint right

So dont have yourself a merry little roadrash and keep your bike upright
