New House & Moving Help
There *IS* some moto content in here as well

I just closed on my new (to me) house in Covington and I need help moving the big stuff since I am useless with a cast on my left hand.

Also, since the trailer I'm borrowing doesn't have anchor points and my trailer is down till I put a new wheel bearing on it, they will have to be ridden....so I won't mind if you take a detour down Green Valley, etc on the way to the new house.

Basically need help with my bedroom (king bed, dresser, chiffoneer, 2 nightstands, TV & stands) kids room (big bunk bed & dresser), dining room table, & couch.

I am offering copious amounts of pizza & beer for any help, plus the new place has a hot tub that you can try out down the road once I have it cleaned and up to speed.) I'm taking off Friday & would love to do it then, but any time over the weekend works as well.

I can also bribe you with goodies baked by the wife if needed!

Thanks in advance for anyone able to help!

Wow Johnny that's a hell of a trek! lol

Thanks for the support guys. Since it seems most of you are available Saturday, why don't we look at 11ish on Sat morning?? I think if we do after work on Fri, trick or treaters will be too thick to be safe plus I'll get killed for not helping with my three! lol

I'll PM everyone that's posted here or PM'd with the house address.

During the day Fri, I'll just continue moving the smaller stuff and prepping for the big stuff.

I might be able to help early on Saturday. My parents are flying into Seatac at 11am, so it'd have to mass earlier for me. I can ride one of the bikes over for ya, or move some stuff. I have an xterra, so just let me know.

Thanks!! Much nicer knowing I am building equity (got a steal on a short sale so already have "some" equity) and not have to worry about a landlord going to foreclosure like my current house.

As for distance to PR, I think I might be a mile or two closer but not much different.

I can help on Saturday at 11:00. I can only stay until about 2:00 or so if that is cool. I wouldn't mind working with the heavy stuff and get a little extra exercise.

PM or post up the address where to meet on Saturday.

Ok, looks like a good turnout. Add in the GF working on Saturday and I'm guessing I'm not coming after all. But if I do, I'll make sure I stop by to help...

I would like to send out a HUGE thanks to those that were able to help and those that offered but had other things come up that interfered. It's very much appreciated and won't be forgotten. There's tons more to move, but I think I can get most of it even with my gimp hand and next weekend will have wife and all the kids to help.

We'll be having a housewarming party sometime in the near future and you'll all be invited.

You have more stuff left than you have room for! Any evening this week, I can help you but I do have an open bed truck and don't want your stuff getting wet (again). The offer is out there... plus I know what kind of alcohol would be waiting for me at the end of helping you!

Cherie/Scott,

Problem with the rest of the stuff is that it's not really boxed and I've been piecemeal moving some of it and throwing some stuff away since I have more junk than room currently.

Plus, I might find myself in the doghouse if an attractive woman is helping me move while the wife isn't around, especially if alcohol is involved!!!

Yea well, I'm glad we made it clear. I am NOT an attractive woman. Cute girl maybe. Only night I can't help is WED. My girl is being spoiled now that racing is over for the year.Gotta butter her up for next year!
