| WMRRA Qualifier Joined: May 2007 From: Tacoma I Ride: 2006 Suzuki gsxr1000 | I won!!! I cannot believe it...but I won the Karoke contest!!!!!!! In case you missed it the first time The people I went up against were awesome and it was a priviledge to share the same stage with them..and honestly I didnt think I was going to win anything.. But somehow the Karaoke gods shined their love on me and I took 1st place.. I sang Bodies by Drowning Pool and really nailed it..and then there was a suicide round and I had a computer generated pick and it was Garth Brooks Low Places..and I didnt nail that..but I did better than I thougt I would and somehow I guess it was enough.. I honestly cannot believe it..I know many people think karaoke is stupid..but you can either sing or you cant..and not everyone is going to make it famous even if they sing better than most. Some of the singers tonight were unbelievable and I cannot believe that I won. This lady named Kerry went up and laid down an awesome version of Lady Marmalade..another dude sang Jet City Woman and it was incredible..This girl named Tami got up and belted out an awesome Whitney houston,and I sang last with Bodies and honestly I didnt think I had a prayer to even hit the top 3 nevermind win the damn thing.There were 13 singers total and 7 of which had to sing in the suicide round. The place was packed and it was a blast! Well no one from PNW showed up..I guess I didnt need a pnw mosh pit afterall.. It kind of a sweeter victory this way..but you all missed a really good show... Out of the 1000 dollar prize money...I got 400 bucks  Not bad for a wanna-be eh?? Icon |

I am pretty thrilled considering I didnt think I had a snowballs chance in hell to win.. I beat some really really good singers...They sang songs that I couldnt sing on my best day...Perhaps they would have just as much trouble with Bodies by Drowning Pool.. The smaller contests are fun too (Thursdays) but the big conests are loaded with talent and like I said before,it was a priviledge to share the stage with them..and an honor to have them congradulate me.
