Until the name is released I can't be 100% about this, but put 2 and 2 together... I fear I assume correct. Thank you to my other friend who let me know about this, he knows who he is.

We're all in shock about this tragic loss. Under normal circumstances we'd never ask people not discuss something like this, however we are sensitive to the fact that an investigation is ongoing, and we've been requested to help in this investigation by not allowing any discussions surrounding this situation on the forum. We would like everyone's cooperation until law enforcement comes to a point in the investigation where our discussions will not compromise it.

I understand the need to not discuss this situation, but could you please post any updated stories to keep some of us informed of the investigation?

Story for those who work at places where they block news websites

“ Quote:
REDMOND, Wash. -- A woman was found dead in an apartment here late Monday morning, and police say the death is suspicious.

Redmond police spokesman Jim Bove said the woman's father, who lives in India, had called a few of her friends in the area to check up on her after he hadn't heard from her in quite some time.

One of the friends went to check on the woman about 9 a.m. and found her dead on the floor of her unit at the Valley View Apartments in the 8900 block of Redmond-Woodinville Road.

The name of the woman, who is in her mid-20s, has not been released. She is said to have been a software quality engineer for a local company.

A cause of death has not been determined, but Bove said there were signs of trauma that make her death suspicious.

Investigators have cordoned off the area and are searching the apartment for evidence. Investigators are also searching for the motorcycle she rode to work everyday.

"That motorcycle is not on the property, but we don't want to assume anything," said Bove. "We don't know if it was stolen. We don't know if it was in the shop. We don't know she was left parked somewhere."

As with what 02 said, right now the best thing this community can do to assist the police investigation is to not discuss this, so the thread will be locked not to silence people wanting to share their feelings and emotions, but to ensure that the police have every chance possible to figure out what happened, which is the best thing all of us can do at this point.

If you're interested in updates I would recommend following the above posted story link: http://www.komonews.com/news/33765759.html as well as sending any inquiries to them.

This is sad news for everyone, but until the police figure it out please do not discuss it here.
