So, 2 weeks ago, I lost the stator on my GSXR. Fried, burned up. Went and saw Terry over at Owens. He ordered it up, and told me it would be in Friday by 11am (this was wednesday night). Now, we all know how this usually turns out: Friday usually comes and goes, and you get a phone call saying "Sorry man, but looks like it won't be in till Monday. There's still gonna be a $40 charge for the rush shipment, though."

So imagine my surprise when, Friday morning, at 10:55, I get a call saying my stator and gasket are in, and the shipping charge is only $15.

So I get back on the road, fantastic...

Yesterday, while inspecting my chain, I notice that one of the O-rings looks "pulled", so I get in behind it and inject some lube, work it out...and notice that there's about 1/8" lengthwise play in the link...

So I head down to Owens again this morning, and not only does Terry have a new EK X-ring 525 chain on the shelf, gives me a good price on it, and they get it installed and out the door in less than an hour...

Thumbs up to the gang at Owens Harley-Davidson etc. !!

Uhhhh thats Owens Suzuki-Yamaha-Polaris-KTM and HD, right?
Now I know where to get Suzuki parts!

awesome people I agree!! lived in Selah for 12 years I still trek there for parts and to talk to my friends that work there and thats where my R6 is from if your buyin talk to Mark S......

ya there awsome there. Soon to be father in law was looking at a used bagger and they were gonna let him take it for the day. How cool is that
