Is there a speed camera just outside of Union Gap going East on I-82? Right before the speed limit changes to 70 again?

Thought I saw one on Saturday

I don't think its a camera....More likely its a weigh scale which digitally checks the load on trucks who have some sort of gadget in the truck itself that lets the driver know to stop at the next weigh station. It does look like a camera and there is one in Grandview right before you get to the WS....I think that's what it is. I've see it a couple times. I have a buddy who is a Troop, I'll ask him.

Washington State is very anal about police intrusion when it comes to it's citizens. So I would be very surprised if it's a speed camera. My roommate got a ticket in the mail from Arizona DPS for blowing a stop light in Phoenix. The ticket came with a fine, a picture of him in his car blowing the stop sign, and a crappy warning about what would happen if he didn't pay the fine. Now that's anal....Thank goodness we are in Washington.

I think they have to post that there are cameras in the area ifthey have. And there are red light cameras all over on this side

yeah if you pay attention they are all up and down 82 from yakima to tri-cities. I can attest to the fact that if they are speed camera capable they are not utilized as such. lol
