I have some really good friends over here that I want to take to my home town and show them around. I can't really think of a lot of the good stuff there is to do there... I was thinking like wine tasting, a bears game, a tour of the slummy neighborhoods to look at the gang members hanging out outside, get some good mexican food and a giant ice cream cone at Ron's Taco Burger (who is Ron anyway, seems like he owns a lot of stuff there). What else should I take them to do? |

Maybe drive Canyon Rd? Go Rattlesnake hunting? Wait a month and pick your own cherries? I'm headed there tomorrow, I'll keep my eyes peeled for fun stuff, but it doesn't look promising. ![]() |

The theme for their halftime program was "Things to do in San Diego." The band spelled out "Zoo......um, zoo." Don't ask me why I thought of that with a thread title of "Things to do in Yakima", especially when it seems like a short paragraph pretty much covered it! |

Hunting, fishing, camping, boatingridin street/dirt. etc. there is actually a lot of shit to do around here, there just isn't much to do in the city like there is in bigger cities. I don't think that it's that bad to live here. |

You could always come to my house drink an 18 pack or two while we totally take your bike apart and then put it back together again to see if we get it right. Float the river in the canyon! Go to Legends Casino and hope you leave with enuff money to get back home. Did I mention float the river in the canyon? ![]() |

| Endorsed Joined: May 2007 From: Toppenish I Ride: 2007 Candy Plasma Blue ZX14 | Everybody Remember This! Ahem! Hear ye, hear ye! 509 Rydas are a group of riders that just like to go out and ride as a group. We aren't stunters. We aren't a bunch of speed demons. In fact, anything involving breaking the law doesn't pertain to what we are about. We are about friendship. Unity. Being there for eachother. Helping eachother out. On any given occasion we can all unite to represent, not just the local area, but the whole idealism of being motorcycle enthusiasts! Anyone is welcome! If you're a stunter, that is fine. We'd probably prefer that you did it elsewhere, on your own. We want to be a group that will keep in good standing with the general public...and the law! A few of us do like to go to the Renegade to let it all out! To be honest, it's actually funner than letting it all out on the public roads. We would like to get as many people as we can to run with us out at the track. Seems to me it would be more fun. Friendship and unity are probably the biggest aspects of being a 509 Ryda. If a rider has something going on and needs help from some of the guys, we'll be on it. If a bike needs fixing or modding. We have guys for that. If someone has a big BBQ planned, they'll invite the crew to make a more memorable event out of it. I hope anyone gets the idea of what 509 Rydas is about. Feel free to post up or PM a member and we'll take it from there. |

| Pit Crew Joined: Jul 2007 From: Yakivegas, Washington I Ride: 2004 R6 | That's cool. I'm down with that, i just think that people have the wrong idea of what RCW is about. We aren't just a group of riders that goes out and wheelies everywhere we go. Next time you see a guys boost a wheelie up in town, there is a high chance that it ain't one of us, and that's the truth. We are tryin to keep a good rep, not just for us but for everyone. If you haven't noticed lately, there are a lot of people buyin new bikes, and they all seem to think that they are good riders. those are the guys"paper platers" given everyone on a streetbike bad names. We as a crew have talked and we don't stunt in town when we are together and discourage anyone that does. we try to keep it out and away from people, besides, if i want to go do a wheelie with no traffic on the highway, who am i really hurting? as long as there is respect there, it isn't an issue. I do respect that if you don't want to stunt. It's your descision. We all are capable of having a nice easy ride, and there are many times that it does happen, no wheelies, no railing, just kickin back. Just want to put it out there so that not everybody thinks that we are a bunch of morons makin ya look bad. We are a good group of riders and i know that we have a name that a lot of people know, but hey, it's kinda nice gettin the recognition. We should get together for a group ride sometime, 509 and RCW. I can't speak for everyone, and there are no guarantees that no one will do wheelies, but if you really have a problem with it, we can manage to have a good ride without stuntin, most of our guys are pretty laid back, and they aren't going to cause anybody to be in danger or any shit like that, it's just about hangin out with people that enjoy the same thing, BIKES!!! I hate getting bad rep from the general public because of squid riders on new bikes. Maybe we all could meet up for the cruise at the end of the month. |

One great thing we have is respect for eachother. Be it you are a stunter, track racer, drag racer, or just a city cruiser. We respect every aspect of riding. There is just a time and a place for each. We leave no rider behind. | |
