| Newbie Joined: Jun 2007 From: Pasco, WA I Ride: R1 and then some | R1 horsepower The other day there was some shit being talked about someone that i know. The subject was R1 horsepower and how he was so wrong. Well i am here to settle this, even though it is a well know fact that is posted all over the bloody internet and someone couldn't get off his arse and look it up. | Slow Eric | Where is this original thread with the 'shit talking'? Anyways, about the R1. Here's the problem with the R1, at 8k RPM, they only produce about 22.4hp. It's only between 12.6k and 12.81k they produce 155hp. I have the documents to prove it. |

Put two guys on the same bike (not at the same time, dayum!) and you get different outcomes. Different riders have different ways they like their stuff set up. Look at Rossi( not you sweetheart! ) he changed teams and bikes and STILL dominated! Just my two percent of two cents. |
