The pursuit ended with the motorcyclist losing control and wrecking his bike. At 2:45 p.m., Washington State Patrol officers attempted to stop Timothy Spradlin-Bisbee, 19, of Selah, who was reportedly traveling east on Interstate 82 at speeds up to 120 miles per hour and doing tricks like riding with both feet on one side of the bike. When officers tried to stop the motorcyclist after he had stopped at a red light on Valley Mall Boulevard, he took off at high speed into the mall parking lot. State police discontinued their pursuit, but officers from the Union Gap Police Department soon located the motorcyclist and tried to get him to stop. Spradlin-Bisbee continued through Union Gap and into Yakima, where officers with the Yakima Police Department kept up the pursuit. He led police through town, weaving in and out of traffic at high rates of speed, when he lost control of his motorcycle on Pacific Avenue. "There was no impact, he just flat lost control," said Capt. Jeff Schneider of the Yakima Police Department. Police shut down a portion of Pacific Avenue between Naches Avenue and Sixth Street after the crash. Spradlin-Bisbee, who was wearing a helmet, didn't have extensive external injuries, Schneider said, but he did complain of lack of feeling in his arms and legs. An ambulance took him to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. His condition was unknown Wednesday evening since he was still in the emergency room for evaluation. Spradlin-Bisbee faces charges of eluding a police vehicle, attempting to elude police and driving without a license. He had an instructional permit, said patrol Sgt. Gary Jones, with the Yakima Police Department. Spradlin-Bisbee also was arrested by the State Patrol on June 20 for charges of reckless driving |

Please pick a better way to 1) be a total dick, and 2) kill yourself rather than wrecking me and adding fuel to the already HOT issue about reckless riders. Thanks, your bike. |
